The biggest challenges of the Pick 'Em League hasn't been picking the winners of all the games but trying to discover what exactly amh63's picks have been on a weekly basis. You need an abacus, slide rule, calculator, computer, and a personal secretary to figure them out. :D

And I'm probably going to need those items to figure out the bonus picks that 7 keeps throwing out there. ???
Especially Bonus #1.

Bonus 1 is pretty easy Magic, let's say these are the conference records after play Saturday:

5-0, 4-1, 4-1, 3-2, 2-3, 2-3, 2-3, 1-4.  As mentioned in the note ONLY teams with 3 losses OR 3 wins are included in the total so you exclude the 5-0, 1-4 & two 4-1 teams.  Of the remaining 4 teams in the bonus, 1 team has 3 conference wins while 3 teams have 3 conference losses, therefore the losing option  gets the bonus.

The there's also this option:
5-0, 4-1, 3-2, 3-2, 3-2, 2-3, 2-3, 2-3.  As mentioned the 5-0 & 4-1 teams are excluded.  Of the remaining 6 teams in play three have 3 conference wins, and three have 3 conference losses.  Since the winning side has the tie option, that said gets the bonus.

Bonus selections worth 1 point, no penalty for wrong answer:
Bonus #1 (locks at 7:30 PM Wednesday): More teams with 3 conference losses vs. more teams with 3 conference wins/same number after play on Saturday?  Currently there are 2 teams with 2 conference wins, 1 team with 3 conference wins, and 5 teams with 2 conference losses.  Every team plays 2 conference games this week.  Note: For this bonus ONLY teams with 3 conference wins or 3 conference losses will be included in total so if 3 teams are 4-1 and 1 team is 1-4, those 4 teams would be taken out of the prop.
Bonus #2 (locks at 7:30 PM Wednesday): Which team will score more points this week: UMass-Boston vs. RI College
Bonus #3 (locks at 4:35 PM Saturday): Which day will have more TOUCHDOWNS recorded in the NFL divisional round: Saturday (Chiefs @ Patriots, Packers @ Cardinals) vs. Sunday or tie (Seahawks @ Panthers, Steelers @ Broncos).   Field Goals and safeties ARE NOT included in this bonus.

Well, a new week and the college football season is over.  Can pay a little more attention to this board now...maybe.
In any case, for Wednesday's picks.....have to go with WPI89's picks.  However, for Saturday's picks, it is the home court schools.  Not confident of WPI's first two picks on the road.
I posted on the CAC board that as the season progresses, picking winners in conference games will be influenced by matchups and depth of the team.   Here, in this conference, to use that final " filter" would require to much work. :).
Magic1.....do still have all the tools you pointed out.....except for the personal secretary.  Since I prefer a woman for that help....we are in the 21th century, it is not possible.....my wife Is the " gatekeeper"  on such matters.  My daughter in laws and daughter are quite capable but not interested.  Ditto wrt sons and I would never ask my son in law who follows the NFL Giants.

Cannot be left holding the door.  In the bonus section dealing with college BB games....have what everyone is having...more teams with three conference losses.  On the Bonus no.2....going with "the man"...7express.....pick UMass Boston.  Really a toss-up for me.
Really a surprise that several posters pick the Chiefs!  Must be "out of towners!" ;D

Eastern Connecticut wins a wild one over UMass-Dartmouth by an 80-72 final score. The final is not an indication of how close this game really was. It was a 1 point game with under a minute to go.

magicman

Southern Maine in a nailbiter over Rhode Island 60-58. The Huskies win by making a pair of free throws with 2 seconds left in the game. Tough way for RIC to lose.

Western Connecticut defeats Keene State 89-80.

Plymouth State wins by a 70-59 score over UMass-Boston.
