Mass-Dartmouth 60 Eastern 55      I guess none of us anticipated that result or that score. Except 7express who was trying to be contrary to everyone else.    WPI had the other game with the most points as well. Hard to think that Keene-Rhode Island won't top the 115 points scored in this game.

Only six 3 pointers made in this game, 3 by each team. That bonus could be in favor of the point spread now.

I just returned from Willimantic.  What a gutsy performance by Keene tonight.  RIC got off to a torrid start jumping out to a 25-8 lead in the first ten minutes of the game.  Keene clawed back with into the game cutting the lead to four at the half.  At the start of the second half it was Keene's turn to dominate.  They outscored RIC 18-0 in the first 6:28 of the half.  RIC refused to quit and the teams exchanged mini runs until the very end. RIC pulled within three with 3:53 left in the game.  Keene made some clutch shots and played solid defense down the stretch to earn a chance for the LEC Championship tomorrow..

I knew it'd happen when I decided to change my picks... had I stuck with my original idea I'd have gotten both right rather than both wrong. Another lesson in not changing your mind.

I get it now...didn't want to jinx your guys by choosing them in the pick 'em contest. Well thanks for making me a winner but the way it turned out we are both winners. Congratulations to the Owls for winning back to back titles. Good luck in the dance. They may end up in Plattsburgh next weekend. If they do will you travel to see the game, All Star? Let me know if that happens. I'm always the first one in line to get tickets when an NCAA game is here.  It's been a pleasure, as always, participating with you and all the guys here in the LEC Pick 'Em League.
