From Princeton University to the EPL....As much as I am not a Bob Bradley fan you really have to be amazed a college soccer coach in the US would eventually be coaching in the EPL. 20 years ago this would have been near IMPOSSIBLE.

And nothing like starting off your EPL career with a welcoming trip to the Emirates  ;D

Mr. Right - I am a Bob Bradley fan but a biased one as I grew up in the Princeton Soccer system. I am surprised to see him in the EPL and we will see how he does. The one thing I can tell you about Bradley is he puts the time in to dissect the game in its entirety. I feel bad for him that he has to face Arsenal first game. He has had 2 weeks to get his feet wet with training. Since I am not a Swansea supporter (Southampton Supporter!!) I don't know who was at training and who was with their international teams but I am guessing he was only missing a couple. I look forward to seeing what happens on Saturday. Swansea City supporters hate the decision so he will have a tough first 3 games where he needs to come out at least 1-1-1. I know I will be watching on Saturday morning and I assume a lot of other people will be too from the US.

Mr.Right

Well he is in the EPL because of one thing and one thing only...American owners...but that does not take anything away from him. Bradley's MO at Princeton was that he had an astute tactical mind and an excellent coach.

I think we all might have forgotten about this week

I'm an LFC fan and didn't want to have to pick United this week, as I felt that Liverpool away was a classic "Mourinho gets the result" fixture, but I'll take the draw.

I WILL UPDATE STANDINGS AFTER THIS WEEKEND.

?

Putting up like 80-90 hr work weeks with normal job, high school soccer games during the week, USSF and mens amateur leagues on weekends... I'll tally up the monopoly point totals tomorrow at lunch.

Missed the deadline for NISOA, but I should be doing NCAA games next fall...
