I realize that I'm hopping into this one quite late, but better late than never:

Saturday
Wesleyan 2-0 Colby - Colby's defensive issues aside, the Cardinals are just too strong for the Mules.
Tufts 2-1 Middlebury - Make no mistake, Tufts is a wounded animal. Conrad at 6'5" will match up to Sullivan and Coleman, and maybe even gets on the scoresheet. However, being at home gives Tufts the edge in what I'd bill as the standout fixture of the weekend.
Trinity 1-1 Bowdoin - Both teams have been rather anemic offensively, though the Bantams picked up a solid road win over Wheaton. Bowdoin has yet to find its stride, but I think will hold its own on the road.
Hamilton 0-2 Amherst - Despite its win over Tufts last weekend, which given the context has to be one of the biggest in program history, Hamilton won't be able to stop the Amherst machine. Jeffs are rolling.
Conn. College 2-1 Bates - This is the one that I struggled with the most, but I think 2-1 is fair. Bates is the enigma of the NESCAC - they started 5-1-1 and even boasted a couple of decent road wins, only to follow it up with losing at home to Trinity. I must say I saw that coming - they got flattened 5-0 by Wesleyan, so even though they beat Williams there are still a lot of questions to be answered. Anyway, I've been impressed by Conn. when I've watched them this fall, and I think they're just too strong for the Bobcats.

Sunday
Wesleyan 1-0 Middlebury - Midd. will be tired from its tight game against Tufts, which, combined with the travel, gives the Cardinals the edge. Cowie-Haskell will prove the difference with either a goal or an assist.

Wes 2 Colby 0 -- Wes knows they are in the mix but with no room for a loss here.

Midd 1 Tufts 1 -- Brutal game to pick.  Want to pick Tufts but their confidence may be reeling a bit and I can't see Midd losing 2 games in 2 days.  Brutal back-to-back for Midd with Tufts away and then Wes away very next day.

Bowdoin 2 Trinity 1 -- Trinity showed a spark of life and now time for that to flicker out.

Amherst 4 Hamilton 0 -- Amherst is feeling themselves distancing from the pack and setting sights on national goals as they march towards a #1 ranking.

Conn 3 Bates 1 -- Conn is starting to see themselves as a NCAA team, and the combination of hunger and growing confidence will prove to be too much for the Bobcats.

Wes 2 Midd 1 2nd OT -- Another very tough game to call but Wes needs two wins this weekend to thrust themselves into the NCAA bid discussion with more very difficult games still ahead.

With both teams on the slide, Williams @ RPI could be an interesting one. Williams struggles on turf and RPI can stretch them out. However, RPI relies on set pieces, and against a bigger Williams could cause problems. Neither teams having success finding the back of the net. Good chance for each side to head back in the right direction.

Don't see either side winning at the moment. 1-1.
