What's going on in the MIAC this year!? The Gusties conceding 4 at home to the Oles, Carleton falling to Augsburg, goalkeepers scoring from their own box (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suwwO7yFE2s)...

It's shaping up to be an interesting year indeed!

What is going with GAC?  5-2 is not bad? But 0-2 in the first 2 conf matches is very out of sorts for them.   Did the early cupcakes soften the Gusties?

GAC seems to be experiencing some growing pains...lots of youth and inexperience on the roster. The cup cake schedule to start the season likely didn't help things. Gave the team a false sense of confidence and didn't properly prepare the team for the rigors of the MIAC.

I can see scheduling a couple games against lesser opponents to start things off, get the young group feeling good with a couple of wins, but 5 weak opponents leading up to conference play is just poor scheduling.

Hoping the team can turn things around in the next match. Can't afford to drop many more points and expect to make the conference tournament.

St. Olaf gets the job done today and wins the MIAC 2-0 in the final over St. Thomas!
