Rutgers Camdem and Eastern tied at 1-1. Eastern playing with 10 men. Defender saved a ball off the line with his harm/hand. A well deserved red. Then a poor PK(goalkeeper save) by Rutgers-Camden keeps it at 1-1. No bus today. Rutgers-Camden with the majority of possession.

Thomas More down to ten men against Chicago and still down2-0. Thomas More has been dominated. Expected Chicago to win but thought TM would be much better.

Not just a red card, but TMC's All-American and best player.  TMC always seems to play on a edge with a very chippy style.  Ref missed a blatant hand ball by Chicago and Juniet must have used the wrong language in his dissent because didn't look like he did anything that merited a red.

Happened 15 yards in front of us - choice words were in Spanish too! Per the handling - if it's the one by the center mid-back -more ball to hand. If I were TM I'd go after #10 - he's on the edge.

Red card because of bad language? I'm sorry, but that's an absolute joke, and should be a yellow at most. These are adults playing and letting some curse words dictate the outcome of a match is absurd.

To be quite honest, to say that that call dictated the outcome of the match is completely absurd. Chicago was up 2-0 and were completely dominating the game. There was no chance that TMC was coming back into that game. UAA teams are just a class above teams that come from weak conferences like TMC does.

Mr.Right

Camden coming in wave after wave and cannot finish..Eastern working on about 10 lives to be still hanging on. If Camden does not finish this off they will be kicking themselves. However, from what I have seen the Eastern GK looks suspect so they might get it done in PK's.

Mr.Right

Oneonta rooting hard for Eastern as they look absolutely GASSED. They will have nothing left tomorrow

Whitworth blows a 2 goal lead in 2nd half.  2-2 with Redlands.  Back and forth action.

Brave effort from Eastern.  RUC also is going to be tired if they prevail.

Certainly did not dictate the 2-0 lead, but to say Chicago was completely dominating is a little harsh.  Not what I saw.  TMC beat a UAA team btw.  And whatever chance TMC had of coming back was lost when you lose your best player.  That said, Juniet has got to do better in that situation controlling himself even if the ref overreached.

R-C wins 2-1 in OT2. It was just a matter of time.

I think Camden will be fine.  They looked content with just possessing the ball... There was no real sense of urgency.

You are correct RUC did not have much urgency which is a bit concerning but eh. Even when they won it they did not seem to care to much. That will all need to change in 24 hours

I would say so.

Maybe.  They certainly expended much more energy than Oneonta and that cold weather can take a toll.  Should be a great game.  I assume very similar to the last Montclair/RUC game.

the celebration was there. I'll open it up to lack of celebration vs. a class act taught by Coach Oz? A lot of guys have been here before. Should be a good game tomorrow vs SUNY.

So UMass-Boston's best player was one of the players suspended.  That's too bad.  UMass also picked up a red in 81st minute.

OT looks likely out at Trinity.

Disappointing end of season for TMC.  Entered tourney on a bad note, snuck into the draw, go down 2 goals in first 6 minutes, lose best player midway thru first half.  Will still be good next year with a strong junior class returning but Juniet and Best leaving will hurt.
Probably a plus for Kenyon.  Chicago may beat the Lords but I think Kenyon will be more comfortable playing the Maroons as opposed to an unpredictable and sometimes volatile TMC who took them to PKs in the same field last year.

My bracket looks horrible.   The one year I go for a bunch of this "mid-major" equivalents are really biting me...

CSS, TMC, MSOE, etc...

PaulNewman

My bracket has disintegrated.  Whitworth loses in OT on an own goal.
