Chicago up 1-0 against Kenyon at the half.

Kenyon only 4 shots vs Chicago.  I wish this wasn't on same time as Camden game...

In the SUNYAC semi final, Plattsburgh St was held to 1 shot.   ONE

Gol2Gol

Game over for Camden down 2-0 with no shots on goal...not surprising. They have to hope for a long series of throw-ins to back back in this game. If they actually open up and try to play it will get ugly for Camden.  They are not anywhere near final 4 caliber team. A lucky run in NJAC's is what got them in.

Kenyon equalize on a counter attack.

What an effort by Amolo. Would have been goal of the season if that had gone in.

No such a thing as a lucky run in the NJAC

Flying Weasel

W&L pull one back with a little over 4 to play.  Trail 2-1 to Haverford.

stlawus

SLU with a comfortable 2-0 win.

Oneonta defends so well... Im expecting them to make the final...

Kenyon wins it on PKs 4-2. Great penalties by Kenyon, two of the kickers went top left and the first kick from Amolo was a great bottom-left shot. Not sure who scored the clincher but that was a great penalty to the right side-netting. Lords deserved to move on IMHO.

Looks like W&L gave Haverford everything they could handle. I missed the game, sadly, but looking at the stats seems like a decent contest. Difference was Haverford's first goal came on a PK. W&L had one fewer shot, but about the same on goal. 1 vs 3 corners. Anyone see the game and can offer feedback?

Proud of the Generals for this season. They represented well.

that oneonta team is a force to be reckoned with. they remind me a lot how Camden looked in 2013. would not be surprised if oneonta doesn't win the title with ease.

Obviously happy to advance....

Kenyon should have been down at least by 3 at the half.  Clougher gifted a goal hitting a goal kick into Desai's back who turns around and puts the ball in an open net.  Chicago dominated most of 1st half and missed a couple of very open looks in close, hit a crossbar, etc.  Kenyon had to feel fortunate to just be down 1-0 but also worried that they played so poorly.  The sun apparently was a huge factor and ref did not allow Clougher to wear a cap as he usually does in the sun.

Kenyon much better in 2nd half, and dominant, although probably not as dominant as Chicago had been in 1st half....although stats suggest otherwise as shots were 10 to 1 for Lords in 2nd half.  Lords had several very good chances.  Still gave the ball away with frequency, sometimes in bad spots, and some poor decisions at times as well.  So played much better but not necessarily well.  Chicago is quick, skilled and pretty physical for an overall smallish team....a lot of short, stocky kids with good speed, skill and toughness.

Not much happened in the OTs.  I thought Chicago would have the edge in PKs because I know Bonin is a superb GK and frankly, after Amolo and Barnes, I had no idea who would even take a PK for Kenyon.  Chicago also got to shoot first which I think is an advantage if your shooter buries that first one, which is exactly what Desai did.  Clougher, though, again came up big, making a good save and then a second really good save, tipping one to the crossbar.

I did not think Kenyon looked like a title contender team, at least today, but they are still alive.  Carmona, the stud frosh midfielder, did not play yesterday or today.  They definitely missed him today when Chicago seemed to have a big advantage in the midfield and especially in the first half held the ball better than the Lords.  No idea why he didn't play, and no clue if he will be available on Friday.
