Mr.Right

Tufts wearing Home Whites...That is interesting, I wonder why they did that

Mr.Right

Kenyon possessing well and their plan seems to be to hit 20-30 yard balls over the top of Tufts CB's and run on to them.

Mr.Right

15 minutes in and neither team has had a sniff at goal. Pretty uneventful so far

blooter442

Greenwood bobbled and almost dropped a high ball...Kenyon nearly had an opportunity from nothing.  Tufts looks dangerous on the counter.

Kenyon's high pressing is unsettling the Tufts D, particularly Coleman. He's lost the ball in his own half a few times so far.

blooter442

Tufts scores first, great header from Majumder from the corner. Was just about to make the point that Tufts is simply trying to win corners and hope for opportunities from set pieces, and so it proved.

Mr.Right

Connor Brown works his magic down the left flank and draws a corner..Another SET Piece goal for Tufts. GK had no chance

Gotta say I'm surprised it's not at F&M, but not completely shocked.

Makes perfect sense by seed.  And is Kenyon borrowing OWU field??  That also would make sense, as weird as that will be.

Pretty sure that's just a typo based off of Kenyon's website.

Also 11 and 1:30 on Friday? Who decided on those times?!?

Agree, 11a is a tough start time - for fans too. But, those are the start times for the national semi-finals in the years when the men play the early set of games. It may give the more tournament-experienced team a bit of an edge if they have already played at the earlier time and have been through the early game routine. In 2010 Messiah went up 2-0 on W-Oshkosh before Oshkosh had woken up. Not making excuses, but I think the early start and 2 week layoff is a bit of a challenge for teams the first time through.

Mr.Right

Im sorry that is a complete HOMER call..I did not see a hand ball...

blooter442

What a penalty by Barnes. 1-1. He's gone that same high corner a few times, and he hits it extremely well every time - no chance for any of the 'keepers. I thought this time he would go for a different spot, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

blooter442

WOW. In three minutes, Tufts went from up 1-0 and cruising to down 2-1. Unreal.

Mr.Right

I missed the goal...What happened there? Tufts better get back in to this game as they look deflated right now

blooter442

Ball into the box, scrum, finished off. Absolutely nothing special but Tufts went to sleep there.

Mr.Right

Bloots,

Was that a legit PK?  It looked unintentional.

Don't think so, didn't see any handball. I thought maybe someone got taken down when the ball got played in. Tufts has looked completely rattled since that goal went in.
