This "wingnut" is a real Loras hater....What's the story with him kicken?
I've been in hiatus for quite some time - was on the "real" d3 boards back in the day.
Not a hater - just dislike when supporters are over confident.

I don't know, don't like seeing a game played in these conditions.

Serpone calling his team "the true underdog" against Lycoming. Very clever.

That's funny.  True underdog!  Ha ha ha!  But Amherst seems to like the "us against the world" mentality and I guess this would help foster that, but nobody, not even his own team, is buying that.

Both Braman and Paprocki have made unbelievable saves to keep their team in it . . . that Braman save on Golz at about 6:00 left was sick.

Wheaton seems to be still playing the ball control finesse tight passing style that they love, but trying to do that with 2 inches of snow on the ground?  I don't know . . .

I'm thinking the game winner will be a sloppy one . . .

That's it, Wheaton is playing tomorrow

My pre-season pick for national champion - WHEATON - advances to Elite 8.

Heartbreak for St. Olaf. #14, I think that's Barboza, played a whale of a game.  He was all over the field making plays.  Can they actually clear 6-8 inches of snow for tomorrow?

As for Tufts - it is just very difficult to concede 3 goals and expect to advance in the national tourney.  They lost this one in the same fashion they advanced to the final four last year.  Live by the dagger and die by the dagger I guess.  Hats off to Kenyon.

Brutal way to lose it for St Olaf after playing so well.  Can't say they didn't have their chances though.

Ought to be a good one tomorrow  . . . a chance to 'get em back' for the Thunder.

They had to do it last year too, so I think they will have it cleared by game time. Might have to get some gators with brushes, but it will get done.

Thoughts on Tufts Kenyon game. Thought Tufts had the better play all around. Great goal at the end by Kenyon. Thought Barnes played excellent for Kenyon. I think Kenyon's defense will be the weakness that keeps them from winning the title. Amolo was the worst of the 3 forwards Tufts played this tournament. The pk was questionable and it deflated Tufts for a short period. The Tufts midfield could have played a a little quicker. Kayne was double teamed but managed to get off some good balls. He had several steals on defense.  Kenyon has a nice midfield. Don't know why they stopped using them in second half. think their defense will have trouble with tall strong forwards. Majumber played excellent. I can see
Kenyon winning tomorrow. Stop Amolo and Barnes and and pressure their defense is the way to beat them.

Tony has another year left, so hopefully he will work on his game this summer and show a lot of improvement.

Yes, he has skill. Just think he needs to work on his focus and get a little more blue collar attitude.

I posted earlier that I don't see him as a 90 minute player, and the assessments that he has difficulty with physical play are correct IMO. Good news for him - his weaknesses are few, and they are obvious. Get to work lad!
