seems like too much respect was given between the two in the first half

Not really...It just has been a game between the 18's.

Mr.Right

If this game goes to PK's which it looks like it might, the loser in PK's will exit the NCAA's without giving up a goal.

Amherst GK Bull looking really indecisive on some of these crosses. Almost looking a bit awkward. Oneonta needs to get more shots on net and test him right now

Santengelo needs to go at Amherst Rohan Sood. I would like that match-up for Oneonta as Sood is a weak link IMO for Amherst

Agree. Sood is the one player that I would be worried about if I were an Amherst fan.

Bull seems to be acting like Greenwood on these crosses, being very indecisive and narrowly escaping. Amherst seemed to be the better side for the first 50 or so, but Oneonta has had a really good spell and is growing into the game. Could be trouble for the Jeffs.

Didn't Serpone say he was trying to get him drafted by an MLS team?

He mentioned they were trying to get him a look. I don't know if that means drafted as much as the chance to head to pre-season and get an extended try-out. Trinity (Texas)'s goalkeeper got that type of a look last year with Orlando City.

Tell you what - he might not have the same serving abilities as Bull does (watching Bull seemingly effortlessly kick a ball 80 yards is incredibly impressive) but Pellegrino is every bit Bull's equal in other departments. Has looked the better of the two in this game IMHO.

I think he let that comment get to his head and is playing cautious so he does not Mess up

Bull isn't even commanding the box good enough for USL Level.   MLS potential?

Mr.Right

Question remains if this game goes to PK's which it looks like it will, does Serpone use that little used back-up GK in PK's and sit Bull like he did last year at SLU and v Brandeis?

Mr.Right

Both these teams look gassed and that could play right into Loras' hands tomorrow

lastguyoffthebench

This game has been mostly in Oneonta St favor.  Long ball city for Amherst

don't get too far ahead of yourself haha they still need to beat an undefeated team tonight to even get to tomorrow, but I like the confidence

Mr.Right

Oneonta has def out possessed Amherst but maybe had 1 or 2 chances on net. All that possession got them not a real sniff on net.Amherst will always play direct and use their size and athleticism.

I thought I saw Amherst back-up GK warming up for PK's?
