I like it and appreciate it -- especially later in the season during conference play.

Greek Tragedy

Like it, but you could definitely save yourself some work by cutting down on your big games list. When it's non-conference, maybe use ranked teams as a criteria, at least until the new year? Then you can use very good records as a basis. Conference season is great for this thread. Then you have teams fighting for 1st etc. I guess I don't care much about the #3 team in the MASCAC vs the #2 team in the SKY or the like. Others may feel different.

I also really like this thread any way you want to do it! Thanks for your work, hopefan.

Mr. Ypsi

Count me in as a fan, hopefan.  Though I'll concur that you could cut your workload by raising the bar on what is a 'big game'.

I would agree. All the fluff caused the omission of Whitworth v St. Olaf in the 11-16 big games post

Good comments all...thanks for the feedback... agreed, I missed the Whit-Olaf game..

I like it as well hopefan, especially during the conference season to see what else is out there outside of my Northeast vision, LOL.

I do agree with others as well though: out of conference is a lot of work, so if you don't mind doing it all, keep doing what you're doing.  If you want a "lighter" workload so to speak I'll piggyback off what Greek said maybe just include games where top 25 teams or ORV (others receiving votes) are playing each other.

Traveling for Thanksgiving... I'll restart on Friday.....

#10 Platteville at Simpson (3-1)
Simpson just smoked Hope. Trying to tell the world the ARC isn't just Loras and NWU

#24 Whitewater at Monmouth
Monmouth won the MWC last year. Stud transfer Will Carius averaging 30 and 11 for Monmouth

#19 IWU at Wash U
Wash U rebuilding or reloading?

Ohio Northern at Hope
Could be a shootout with the Killer B's on display. ONU's Bruns vs Hope's Beckman.

I come here often hopefan and enjoy all you do. As others have stated I would cut back on the big games just a bit though.

The first full weekend of Division III basketball did not disappoint. Upsets, close games, thrilling outcomes. There was a little of everything.

Big Games 11/23/18

Sorry guys, just not much out there today

So personally, I'll be watching the Webster Tourney, keeping an eye on Calvin and Hope vs NAIA locals Cornerstone and Aquinas, and the Nebraska Wesleyan Tourney where Greenville plays Olivet (SLIAC vs MIAA doesn't happen often) and Redlands plays Nebraska Wesleyan...
