Mr.Right

I thought Rowan imposed their will on RUN last time they met especially physically. It will be interesting to see how RUN plays this. They need this game. Rowan's 6'8 GK is a beast..curious how quick he is at getting down

Mr.Right

I said this last time but I am sorry RUN is going nowhere fast with a 5'6 GK..That is a huge liability

Mr.Right

0-0 about 5 minutes left in the Half and Rowan have had the more dangerous chances in the 1st Half. A couple real good looks that need to be finished. RUN plays some nice 2 touch and have had some dangerous chances as well especially a DeSouza set piece right before the Half that got deflected or it was heading for the net

this is a snooze fest NJAC final. hard tackles which is typical. rowan has yet to find an answer for Newark's offense. out wide #7 is a beast and desouza is getting in dangerous positions.

Agreed he is like a little nat with serious quick feet..Would hate to have to defend him..You would really need to stay low and not dive in as he draws a ton of fouls

very confused why Rowan thinks kickball is going to work..

Mr.Right

Game starting to get stretched..Yea Rowan trying to split the CB's with long balls but to not much effect. That Doherty kid has another gear,,he is very pacey and dangerous

Mr.Right

IMO Rowan needs to keep shooting and test this GK..Keep ripping shots..

firstplaceloser

doherty would be able to do more if #9 actually passed the ball sometimes.

firstplaceloser

the most comical thing about rowan fans is them screaming to Fabio that he sucks lol

Mr.Right

That is just weak sauce defending by Rowan on that set piece...RUN player left unmarked on a ball that has to be dealt with

firstplaceloser

wooooooow wide open! golasooooo

Mr.Right

I will say that most D3 teams would kill to have a home crowd like Rowan has tonight..Looks like a good # of people supporting them

firstplaceloser

yeah for sure they always have a big crowd. i think rowan is going to score before it's over though

firstplaceloser

wow... congrats to Newark in their first ever NJAC championship. i know Kevin East will never forget about this
