very random but how come none of the NJAC teams get articles like upstate update and nor'easter blog. clearly they either don't care or i am missing something

Well, the second possibility is the correct one: you are missing something.  Throughout it's 10-year existence, D3soccer.com might best be described as a spare-time hobby of 2 or 3 people, with contributions from one to several others depending on the year.  Maybe read the article The 2017 season is here and, yes, we are back that I posted at the start of the season for a little more insight.  If you knew us and/or could see behind the scenes, you would quickly realize how far from the truth it is that we "don't care".

The regions/conferences covered by one of our weekly columns are being covered because someone with interest in and knowledge of those regions/conferences approached us and volunteered to write for us.  We have no regional weekly column covering the NJAC because no one has ever approached us and volunteered to write one.  And even if some one had volunteered to do so this year, it could only have become reality if we were able to find a new volunteer copy editor or one of this year's new volunteer copy editors could have taken on more work.

Believe me, we at D3soccer.com would love to be able to have a lot more weekly columns so that all regions/conferences/teams were covered by one of them.  But we have never had nearly enough volunteer writers/columnists to do that, and even less so have we had enough volunteer copy editors and people behind the scenes to have been able to handle that much original content each week.

i was just wondering. probably should have worded it differently. i apologize. you guys do an amazing job every year i am on the site daily checking things. i was just wondering why there was never anything on this area. but it makes sense and again i didn't mean to disrespect you guys.

No disrespect/offense taken.  It's perfectly natural to wonder about our uneven/spotty coverage.  It was just a good opportunity for me to clarify the situation again, and to some degree remind people that the website could always use more volunteers to help it realize its potential.

Mr.Right

Did not realize MSU came back to beat WP on Saturday as they were down 2-0 in the 65th minute..hmm they look much more physical than RUN

luckylefty

Was anyone at tonight's Rowan game? Online the announcers said "2 seconds left" as the ball got to Connors. Who took a touch and struck the ball. Then it traveled into the net before 2 seconds? If the announcer was correct I don't see how it could have possibly been a goal.

Crazy ending.

I was there, no way that ball made it into the net before the clock was at zero!

RUN and Rowan Final...I still say RUN must win that match to get in...Their resume is lacking a bit looking around at other regions

maybe Newark can get their first conference championship this year bc Rowan did not look impressive at all. AT ALL.

I agree, I thought Stockton rattled Rowan some which is surprising for a team that is talking national championship.  Their lineup looked different than earlier in the year as well.  Is Sjaastad hurt?  I didn't see him on the field at all.

On another note, I thought Stockton put up a good fight, did they pack it in, yes but they still had some chances and seemed to frustrate Rowan.  Stockton was also were much more physical than they were in the regular season match up against Rowan which was nice to see.  I still don't know how Rowan gets away with some of the fouls they commit but don't get called.

i was told a few players got into some trouble...

Go2Goal

Stockton registered 1 shot on goal! And 5 shots attempted in 110 minutes. Shots where 26 to 5 and 10-1 SOG. Stockton came in hoping for pk's And almost got there. But let's not act like they came to play. Funny how you say how physical Stockton was but then say Rowan gets away with fouls. It's always tough to beat conference opponents twice but more so when they sit in. The post and a few great saves by Stockton's GK almost where enough. Not sure what happened after the game but I hate to see kids lose their cool. Now RUN comes back to Glassboro looking for the AQ. If Rowan gets the AQ could it be only one team from the NJAC? I don't think so! I think the winner on Saturday will host the first round.

way stockton definitely came in with a tie on their mind. the fight broke out bc they lost their heads after having their season ended like that. Rowan should've never let it get that far.. they looked like they might be in trouble saturday. i'm calling a 3-2 RUN win.

There is a difference between physical play vs fouls I'll let you figure that out on your own.  Yes Rowan was the better team tonight and this season.  Stockton sat back and played for the tie and take a chance in penalties, not a doubt about that and it was clear to see that was their game plan.  I also think Rowan didn't play as well tonight vs when they played Stockton earlier in the year and yes it is tough to beat a conference team twice in a season but we're talking about a national title contender vs a "pretender".

Saturday should be a good game and I think both teams will make the tournament regardless of the result but a win for RUN I think is more important.  Will be interesting to see if Rowan has any issues adjusting to some players being out as they play a better team, I'm not sure what happened or how long some players are out if them getting in trouble is correct.

I was watching the stream, which was pretty good quality, and I wanted to see a replay--they do that routinely on the Messiah stream with scoring plays and some near misses. If I were in the witness box, my testimony would be that the goal didn't count. Time ran out before it crossed the line.
