Gotta root for Goucher for maximum Landmark chaos.  It doesn't take much for me to root against Etown anyway lol
Whats the deal with the cut of the field?  Intentional?

I spent my evening watching the Catholic-Scranton game.  Catholic demonstrated why I think they are unimaginative, lacking in creativity, and soccer challenged.  All it takes to beat them is an organized and disciplined team... like Scranton tonight.

I dunno, man... It's a REALLY weird field. Like.. What are those really short cut stripes, and then the rest is like crab grass. It's a very weird field.

Side bar: The E-town Blue Jay looks like it's up to no good.. Just saying.

Dave McGugh (spelling) of hoopsville is a goucher alum and resident historian...maybe he'll check this thread.

I thought at first that the grounds crew was getting all artistic... then I realized that was not possible with how it looks....

On to PKs

Hope they keep track with graphics on the feed...the crowd noise is beginning to get to be too much.

Disappointing fan turnout for E-town, isn't it?   The Goucher fans are bringing it!  Very odd with the grass cut the way it is.

Somebody needs to check with the Etown grounds crew! I think they set the blade on the zamboni too low and took a few passes on the field?!?! They should head down to Grantham and get some tips from the Messiah grounds crew cuz obviously they've managed to make Shoemaker field hold up north of the Mason-Dixon with all the soccer being played between McCarty's and Frey's teams :D

I'm pulling for Goucher on this one

E-town wins it in PKs. Goucher made 1 of 4. Etown made 3 of 4. Etown keeper made two pretty good saves on kicks 3 and 4.

Etown's grass was like that all year.

Hopkins92

Good for Etown. Probably a just result, given the overall vibe of the game (sorry, I still feel like it's part of a recap).

Props to Goucher on a very good year. No idea what's going on with roster and graduations, but there's a decent level of talent on that

FYI, the E'town is as bad as it looks.  Grass was really long back in September when F&M played them.

Something weird was going on. It was, like, 20 Goucher fans? Maybe? But the acoustics picked them up a LOT. The Etown folks outnumbered them by a lot Gopher fans were into it and very vocal.

I watched pretty much the entire thing and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Hoping a few Etown fans on this board attended and can give some more color.
