Lebanon Valley v Muhls at Muhls new turf. Looks like LVC struggled not playing on its high grass at home from what I saw. 2-0 Muhls.

Lenny Armuth at Drew is about 3 minutes away from career victory 400.

Just watched the replay of the 4-0 Messiah Cal Lutheran game.  Cal Lutheran played well but Messiah's keeper had 2 great saves in the first half and then Messiah showed its class in the second half.  Two skilled teams so entertaining to watch.

Adam is excellent.  Being the keeper at Messiah can be difficult.  Yes, you will win 95% of your starts but you often do a lot of watching and Messiah does not use their keeper as an 11th field player like you might expect. Often he must make one or 2 good/great saves in a vacuum.

He was a little busier than normal last night because Messiah is sorting out the back 4.  An injury to Messiah's all-american center back against Scranton means some re-shuffling is needed and some youngsters will need to be blooded earlier than expected.

Carthage should be a sterner test. They have a couple of goal scorers who put up real legitimate numbers in the CCIW last year.

I've been really nervous to post for some reason, but feel as though its the right time and I'm really excited to hop into the discussion especially in this thread.

So many good teams to keep track of in the Mid-Atlantic Region with some really exciting fixtures coming up. Personally, I believe Mary Wash has the chance to really go for it this season. They have more depth than they have ever had, and a lot of key players that can change a game at a moments notice. They have a 7:00pm tilt against Bethany this evening followed up with a game against Marymount who they played in the NCAA tournament in 2022 during their final four run. Should be a good matchup as Marymount is right up the road and tons of DMV guys that have all played against one another.

Kenyon and Rowan both go up 1-0 early. Could be a lot night for the home teams.

If you're watching the game in B'more, looks a lot more like Hopkins takes a W than Kenyon. Both good teams, but I'd say Jays dominated possession and more danger chances.

Hopkins lives and dies by playing it out of the back and some sloppy play at the 25 yard line led to a turnover and well-finished goal.

Hop pressure led to a 30 yard cross into the box and a deft finish. Second half should be a chess match. Kenyon willing to wait and pounce, Hop doing a good job breaking the soft press and being dangerous in the attacking third.

I have long lamented the Jays inability to score. This iteration seems a little more dangerous with its movement and passing in the final third.

Should be a interesting 2nd half.

F&M down -2-0 because of their own ineptitude (lack of communication) in the back. But great for Rowan doing what they need to do.

Had many, many opportunities to tie or at least get back in the game.  Having Oscar Horwitz out with an injury is no excuse, but has impacted its team. Still time.

2-1 with 23 min. left. F&M goal seemed liked an own goal, but credited to Jack Borden. Strong shot just redirected by Rowan.

WOW

WOWOWOWOWOW

Kenyon scores with 5 seconds left to take the game 2-1. Amazing win for them.

Hop is going to have to get their minds right with Rowan coming in on Sunday.

Wow.

F&M scores with 3:30 left to equalize. Great finish to the game. 2-2

Wow.

Truly wow and brutal.

Though Rowan got two goals reasonably early and I would have been fine with them with the result, as Rowan showed a whole lot early. F&M put themselves in a hole with bad communication in the back at least for the 2nd goal. So really shooting themselves in the foot.

F&M, despite maybe playing on 5 cylinders, just kept up the pressure over and over during the game. The first goal might have been lucky, but the 2nd goal was during the run of play with a just beautiful cross and to perfectly placed player. Got to make your own luck.

FYI, I think Rowan was playing defense to softly and not keeping its line much higher. Have to more disciplined. F&M should not have had a kid sitting under that ball during the run of play. Like I said, got to make your own luck.

If you want to see the second goal go to 2:10 (2 hrs 10 min) in the video here. https://www.centennialconference.tv/?B=1123460

Also, both teams were chippy especially in the 2nd half.
