Heads up to curious D3 fans: you might still be able to view the stream of this game. I just reviewed the scoring plays here https://gomessiah.com/watch/?Live=247&type=Live

I hope they leave it up for a few hours. If you go there, to see what I mean about Groothoff's return and more confidence (which comes with the former) changing everything for the Falcons, watch these two segments:
(1) 1:53:30 to 1:55:45.  See how Groothoff, Kokolios, and Goodling (who had the hat trick vs York before Luke's return) manufacture the second goal--and how the defense gloms onto Groothoff, leaving Kokolios wide open to go unmolested to goal.

(2) 2:23:00 watch the sequence of two corners, with Groothoff finishing in spectacular fashion.

This is high level soccer. Such moments have been rare until this past week, including today.

Watched a majority of the game yesterday and the Falcons looked dangerous. Slowly starting to get back to the Messiah we all know as they get healthy and more confident. Lycoming also picked up a nice win over CMU who just tied John Carroll last week. Should be fun to watch both here in a few weeks face off as they continue to build their resumes.

I'll have my eye on the Dickinson @ F&M result on Wednesday.  The only remaining undefeated teams so far in CC play, so the winner can take early command of the conference.  Dickinson on a 3 game win streak.  They have averaged 3.8 goals in their 5 wins this year, while only scoring 1 goal in 3 losses (to good teams -- Messiah, Catholic, Lyco).  Meanwhile, F&M have won 7 in a row (5 in a row by 1 goal).  Kopacz and Gilbert are fun to watch and each gives their team a dangerous option up top.  Should be plenty of offense in this one.

I just bolded those games because they weren't on the "traditional" Wed/Sat schedule. I don't anticipate the crosstown match btwn Catholic and Galludet to be especially competitive, for example.
