For the Landmark Catholic has to be the favorite again, but with COVID and extra eligibility it is tough to figure out who is returning and who is not.

Scranton got a late season transfer from the D-1 FDU..

For sure, across the board in all conferences.

As for the Messiah Falcons, I think a lot of the best players are returning not just for 2021, but also 2022 based on the extra eligibility. They could really be loaded, perhaps resembling the teams a few years ago that were very deep. But, if so, that situation will surely apply to some other top teams. As a fan, I'm very excited to see the opening games in September. Most years, the Falcons play quite unevenly for maybe half the season, before jelling, as they figure out who plays where in their free-ranging system and want to see what the newcomers can do. I expect this season to be different, in that respect. They will be loaded with highly experienced, skilled players. Maybe that affects recruiting, maybe it doesn't. Either way, they should go far this fall.

Do the Generals walk to VMI or are they forced to take a 30 second bus?

Haverford and Stevens tied 2-2 this morning @Haverford. Have no data more than that.

Pretty much any game in PA is off the books...

Majority should be played tomorrow pending weather forecast

Messiah defeated Eastern Connecticut State 3-0 tonight, in game not nearly as close at the score. The Falcons were in charge from start to finish, and with better luck could have doubled the number of goals. In two cases, the EC keeper skunked them; in a third case, a rocket hit the crossbar. EC threatened maybe twice, but on the whole they were totally under the control of the Falcon defenders. Messiah's experience shone through. All 3 graduate student starters had great nights, with two of them (J Groothoff and Goodling) picking up goals while Cole owned the backfield. The next game, at Muhlenberg, will probably be much closer and a better gauge of where they are right now.

MAF Top 10
1. Messiah (2-0-0) a pair of nice shutout victories propels the Falcons to the top of the region in the early going
2. F&M (2-0-0) a pair of nice shutout wins as well have the Diplomats keeping pace atop the region
3. Gettysburg (1-0-1) the Bullets come back to PA with a draw vs a talented CNU side. Tough tests await with Lyco & LVC before an ease in the schedule
4. Swarthmore (2-0-0) a nice win vs Babson keeps all eyes on the Garnet as they look to repeat a 2019 Sweet 16 run and more
5. Stevens (1-0-1) two strong results for the Ducks have them as early season favorites and in the top 5
6. Catholic (2-0-0) tougher tests await this weekend for the Cardinals which should be more telling of where they are at
7. Lycoming (1-0-1) a solid start against two worthy opponents have the Warriors sitting inside the top 10
8. Hopkins (1-0-1) a little bit of a surprise draw w/NC Wesleyan has the Blue Jays middle of the pack early on
9. Muhlenberg (1-0-0) a strong showing over historically tough Scranton has the Mules in the top 10 for now
10. Eastern (2-0-0) a solid start for the Eagles, but we won't know too much until late September of how talented this group really is

RV:
Etown (2-0-0) two wins out of the gate is what they were hoping for, but tougher tests await this weekend as F&M hosts the Blue Jays
Leb Val (2-0-0)  a nice start but a tough 3 game stretch in a few weeks will be more telling
Moravian (1-0-0) a statement win for the Greyhounds as they took down Dickinson in their season opener. Ramapo awaits and should tell us more
Misericordia (2-0-0) a nice result over Ramapo has the Cougars lurking near the top 10

Surprised no Cabrini listed there.  Beat Haverford, and currently sit at 3-0.  There is a few schools listed who don't have any strong wins, or only have one mildly decent win (over Scranton for instance).
