I watched a majority of the Swarthmore vs Lycoming game last night and it was entertaining to say the least. I jumped in a little late to the first half, but it was a little slow and I felt that Swarthmore had the slight edge. It was a bit choppy and some questionable calls were made by the officials throughout. The second half was more enjoyable, as both teams dug in and started to play, after feeling each other out. The game opened up a bit and there were some decent chances for both teams. Lycoming looked the more dangerous team and created more opportunities in the second half and the first OT. Lycoming did score in OT but had the goal called back for what I assume was offsides. Both teams looked gassed by the start of the second OT and the game thus ended in a 0-0 draw. As mentioned, one of the more entertaining scoreless games I have seen in a while and both teams looked very very solid after a rough first half.

I watched the first 30 minutes in the first half and stopped watching.  Wasn't doing it for me.

Just to be clear, CNU is #3 in Region VI behind very good Emory and W&L squads

Eastern up 2-0 on what only charitably be described as "miscues" in the back for LVC. (like... WOOF). First was a really dead backpass from the CB to the GK at center dot that was easily intercepted and then skillfully finished by the Eastern striker.

Second was another turnover from the backline in the center of the park that was carried unscathed for about 20 yards, then crossed through about 3 LVC players (somehow) to and Eastern player that took a good establishing shot and smashed it home from 16 yards out.

Hopkins loses 2-0 to CNU. No video but the box score indicates that JHU's senior center back didn't play. Without him, they struggle.

Yowsers on that last game. Looks like a back-and-forth affair that got mostly put away with Wash up 4-2, then Cath scored late to make it 4-3.

I'm really bummed the CNU-Hop game isn't being streamed. Manassas is just far enough away (and the game time is annoying) that I can't really duck out of work for that one.

Don't understand how in today's world that Christopher Newport would not be streaming this game.  I should send them a fax or call their beeper to lodge a formal complaint via Morse code.

Seems to be more prevalent as of late, CNU has had 3 neutral site games this year. They played Emory in Charlotte, JHU in NOVA, and Methodist in Roanoke.  If I remember, I will ask the AD about it next time I see him.
