Leb Valley tied Lancaster Bible 3-3 in a game that is best recounted in the National Perspectives thread.

Haverford beat Rutgers Camden 1-0.  Haverford scored on a PK midway through the second half after its left wing turned the RUC defender rounding the endline into the box and was taken down.  RUC had its own PK late in the second half saved by the Haverford GK to preserve the win.

PSU Harrisburg does not look outmatched.

They are a fun team... Nice counters. You can tell they have a plan and are patient when Messiah has the ball.

That early goal was crazy. Like, Falcons weren't sleepwalking, but they definitely weren't ready for that kid to slap that ball.. It was a weird half-kick and definitely flat-footed the keeper.

These announcers are entertaining. Trying to be "professional" but they lost it on the goal.. Which, is totally fine, btw. They don't need to be neutral, just don't be annoying about your home team slant.

But, yeah, one of them needs to probably study the game a bit more. Some of the stuff he is saying kind of doesn't really make sense.

FYI two years ago I think Messiahs only regular season lose was against PSU 1-0. Goal wasn't that early and PSH was very good team.

A couple of years ago they had no announcers and no mic on the field. Much better now. FYI if you want to listen to crazy kid announcers listen to Haverford. They are funny and super annoying all at once.

Not sure if it's a new crew, but I listened to that crew a few years ago and they were very funny. Might just be their culture/tradition.. and, keep doing that! I love the students when they are trying.

I can't remember what NESCAC student crew it was, but they were similar to the Fords with being pretty funny.

I love all of it... Just the "you never know what you're going to get" nature of things. Such a quirky little corner of the universe.

(You absolutely know what you're going to get with a small percentage of schools/conferences. In addition to resident expert Sager, the Messiah home crew is notoriously and historically volunteer/professional.)

Lycoming defeats Scranton 1-0. Elizabethtown goes down a man in the 80th minute of a 1-1 game and scores with 30 seconds left to beat Juniata 2-1. Both now sit atop the Paywall conference at 3-0.

Mules homer back for some more after getting abused in first week of season by a supposed Mid-Atlantic expert. Haverford announcers (aka the Beavis and Butthead of the D3 booth) are hilarious and worth the listen in the old centennialconference.tv archive.
