Stevens will be missing a player for the first round of the NCAAs after an ejection for two yellows.

Hopkins with a gritty road win (1-0) to take the CC title and the AQ... We'll see where this leaves the Muhles. As I said, very tight team, but the really struggle to create offense off of the run of play.

Seems hard to see how Muhlenberg gets a Pool C with 4 losses, only ranked win, and ranked 6th coming into this game.  Maybe they get bumped up by making the finals and they pick up another ranked win from a team that appears in the final rankings.

I was just looking at some numbers and I think Muhlenberg now has two ranked wins and will get a SoS boost having played F&M and JHU back to back.  There may be some hope there.  A week ago tghe Mules had zero ranked wins...but beat F&M and picked up another with Hobart getting ranked.

I think Lynchburg potentially was flirting with being on the bubble so looks like they are leaving nothing to chance.  Now W&L will have to sweat a little....but not too much.

Sorry Another Mom.  Looks like W&L couldn't play a complete game. The second goal hurt.  Just got unlucky with the chances they had. All goals by Lynchburg were good ones.

Not an expert, but I think W&L did enough to a get a bid after a rough start to the year. Regular season win  against Lynchburg may have helped quite a bit.

I didn't watch Lynchburg at W&L. but superficially looks very similar to Denison beating Kenyon.  Get out to a 1-0 lead, then level, then win 3-1 on the favorite's home pitch.  At least the stats were far more even for this one.  Also a lot of similarities style and grittiness-wise between Lnychburg and Denison.  Don't be surprised to see them play each other in the 1sr round.

Unfortunately, did not see the Denison match.  At home, W&L thumped Lynchburg 4-0 last week to get the top seed. The three goals given up were good ones, while W&L had chances but just couldn't finish. Definitely as to playing each other.  The case will be as to where. W&L has hosted in the past three seasons.  So a lot of intrigue.

Thought Lynchburg played the match perfectly.  Frustrating W&L and taking advantage of the opportunities that they were given.

Thank you!

Most versatile player out there and a gritty effort.

I stopped by the game in the middle of a 10-hour drive.  Fingers crossed for 2 pm today.

I'm going to call that a more favorable draw than W&L deserved in my opinion. Playing at home is... very kind, and that's not an unwinnable pod, even for a team that has struggled against top shelf opponents. No gimmes, especially for a team that has struggled against top shelf opponents, but no one in that pod seems like a runaway freight train.

On the less favorable side, a tough draw for F&M who are looking at a potential 2nd round matchup with Conn College
