WEST in the NICK of time to send this one to OT, 2-2.

Raise your hand if you've seen this one before.

Have to say Hopkins plays some really nice stuff. I guess I did see them last year against Tufts but I'm very impressed with them today.

rudy

thought for sure with momentum that Messiah would score  in OT but give Hopkins credit. I thought their goalie made some great saves all game long. 13 shots on goal.  First Hopkins goal looked to be a mistake from Messiah but would have to see replay. Just a long ball and keeper was beat to the ball I believe. West was huge again under pressure.

Is there any way to watch the Messiah JHU game online now?

It looks to be available on the "On Demand" tab here: https://portal.stretchinternet.com/jhu/#onDemandTab

EDIT: Ooops, you need a password to access it.

Mr.Right

You used to be able to access prior games up until like 5 years ago and then coaches began realizing that non-conference and conference opponents were scouting them with relative ease without even leaving the office. Hopkins SID and Head Coach would need to authorize for you to watch it. I would give you maybe a 10% chance of getting their authorization. Maybe 15% if you have some serious persuasion skills. I would wait a day as they might not be in the best of moods after Hopkins blew the game. Hopkins was very organized defensively from what I saw in the 2nd Half but did not have the mental toughness to see a 2-0 lead out with 10 minutes to play. West is a beast and while I have only seen Lopez/Chicago once this season I might have to agree with Falconer that West is the best striker in the country right now. Lopez is a stud but if I am building a team from scratch I pick West over Lopez. Hopkins is an NCAA team for sure though and it would be a disappointment if they failed to get a Pool C. Hopkins showed what they can do as they focused 100% for 80 minutes and were determined to beat Messiah last night. They just could not see it out. If they play like that for EVERY game than they will be in the NCAA's. I am guessing that Hopkins has not played like that every game this season. You have got to get pumped for EVERY game no matter who you are playing.

There's a potential upset in the making in Colorado Springs, with Colorado College leading 1-0 over Trinity (TX) with less than 20' to play:

And just as I hit "Post," Trinity ties it up at 1 in the rarefied air of Colorado Springs at 72'

...and the game ends in a 1-1 tie.  Good (and fair) result for the home squad.

I watched a large part of this one, too--from the opening minute until about 65 minutes into the game. I agree the result was fair. Both teams had their chances, and they played each other straight up. My impression is that Trinity isn't quite as skilled on either end as they have often been in the past. I've never seen CC play before.
