Boy, B-ball for not knowing me you sure do think you know me. As I have said many times, It's my opinion, take it or leave it but do not tell me to go elsewhere!! We live in America, home of the free and Home of FREE speech. Wish I was an observer for the CAC so I could get rid of this Referee.

Have seen Lynn years before my daughter played for UMW and he was ALWAYS a problem. Can not beleive he is a college referee but that just tells me how hard it is to get enough GOOD referees at all levels, must have to take a few idiots(Not talking about you b-ball)

No Grudge and never said hero. Only get amped up about a referee that likes having the game all about him and has, in MY opinion, manipulated the outcome of games.

Maybe if you do not like what I write YOU should stay off this message board as it seems like I have really hit a nerve with you. Probable you to see what I see but your a MMT fan and like having him on you side

UMW has several new players next year coming. Sarah Jones from Bishop O'connell, Sam Partonen from Robinson SS, Brieneke Matthes from Oakton high school, Abby Diop from Annandale high school and several more that I do not know. With these players and the core still at UMW this team should be much stronger then last year and will have a great season.

This team will be young but getting more experiance each year. No seniors this year except Kate Carlezon will be back as a 5th year player. 5 Jr's, 3 Soph. (one is leaving) and the rest will be freshman. And they will have the last 2 ROY back (Katie Wimmer & Carol Dye). First team all CAC Jenna McRae,

ONLY 158 days till practices starts!!!!!

Rumors are flying about the MMT job. Several of the better high school coaches in Northern Va have been mentioned to be interested in the job. We will know soon!!!

UMW's new gym is coming right along. Not sure if they will be able to use it this season but hope so. Next year for sure. Maybe be able to host NCAA tournament games

UMW have a lot of new players coming this season. There will be cuts at tryouts. No seniors next year so it will really get interesting the following year.

Update for UMW:
They have like 20 players going out for the team this year.
3-Seniors grad in 2010 but Kate Carlezon will come back as a grad student
1 Freshman Quit after season ended
So there is 10/12 new players, many from Northern Va
1 transfer from Colorado

It will be VERY competative for spots on the team this season
NO Seniors this year
Ashley Reed coming back as a asst. coach

I see that Marymount asst. coach is leaving and going to Randolf-Macon as an asst. CK Calhoun is gone. marymount has not taken her name off their web site yet,

10 Days till practices start. UMW has about 17 going out for the team so there will be cuts. Several have already quit.

This year looks good for the Eagles. With the players that are returning and the new freshman coming in should real fun to watch. No seniors so it will be very tough next year getting a spot.

Wondering who is MM getting this season and how well will they do with the new coach? Not much talk on this web site. I know it is early but other Regions post almost everyday.

Should be interesting to see if addition of Frostburg shakes up the league at all? They went 19-8 last year, don't think many teams have played them in the past few years so will be unfamiliar. Tough game to start conference play as they open up with MMT! Anyone know anything about them?

  Scranton probably wishes that Tara's career would have been 1 fewer game as she lit us up for 21 points in an otherwise low-scoring 2010 NCAA 1st round game. My sense is that her efforts over her career symbolized what's best about D3 athletics.
