UMW - alone at the top again! 
A win at MMT Wednesday would go a long way to cementing the #1 seed for the CAC tournament.

UMW gets the win at Marymount!!! 47-21 Holding the Saints to 4 points the 2nd half. UMW's defense is really getting good. They are shutting down other teams best players. Billy had 3 points last night. Another tough game on Wed. UMW play Ferrum

UMW wins the CAC!! Now onto the tournament next week. Need to win to get into the NCAA. Guess UMW will have a chance even if they do not win the CAC tournament but not a given at all. The losses at the begining of the season have really hurt their chances but they are really playing so much better now.

#4 in the country in scoring defense that is why they are doing better. Defense wins championships!!!

Are there any other UMW fans or even CAC fans out there?

Jenna McRae and  Katie Wimmer are both closing in on 1000 points. Would be neat if they both get it in the same game

Ouch! Neither MMT or UMW in the CAC final. York v. Wesley on Saturday, with the winner capturing its first CAC title.

UMW Jenna McRae and Katie Wimmer both make first team all-CAC. Very disapointing year for both these players. Still can not beleive UMW did not make the NCAA tournament. But that is why you play the game and you need to show up for EVERY game.

Hopefully this will motavate this young team for next season and the players will now understand you have to keep at it even during the off season. They have the players, coach and talent, it just took so long for them to jell as a team. Need to come in at the begining of the season jelling.

Need some of the older players to come and tell them how it is done!!!

UMW ends the season being #2 in the country in scoring defense. They SHOULD have been in the NCAA tournament but did it to themselves by loseing at the begining of the season games they COULD have won and then loseing to Wesley in the CAC tournament. That loss bumped them out of the top 6 in the Atlantic region, and with a win they WOULD have been in the NCAA tournament. Should have, could have, would have but did not.

I sure hope these players remember this next season (from the very start)

One thing good is ONLY 1 graduating and Rachel Martin has had her surgery and will be back along with Kelsey Woehnker, Those 2 would have made a difference. Not much room for recruits
