Congrats to Tia Perry. I met her parents a few years ago in the stands. Nice family!

Saw the most entertaining women's hoops game yesterday at The Freeman. CNU edges York in overtime. York hit a 3 with about one second left to send it in overtime. I thought for sure York had momentum then and would win. But CNU fought back and had two players with double doubles. Now, if I could have watched the game not sitting in front of a CNU student trying to explain the rules to his parents........and he was wrong more often that right, I may have enjoyed the game with lower blood pressure.

I hope anyone from York that attended, and they were quite a few, that other than the outcome, you had an awesome experience with about 2,000 fans, and the band, and dance team, and cheerleaders, and tons of students.

Yesterday's results make the standings and tournament picture more interesting.

UMW 74 - CNU 44; surprising win let alone site and margin of victory; what happened?

I think the combination of MW playing well and CNU's best player getting hurt in the first half made for a disaster....when I first saw the score, I thought it had to be an error.

Any chance you can move this string back over to Women's Basketball where it used to be and where it belongs?  ;D Thanks

Pat Coleman

Thanks for the heads-up. When I moved it from the Atlantic to Mid-Atlantic, I moved it to the wrong Mid-Atlantic. :)

I was wondering where this board went..... :)

Sure hope that Marymount has their live stats operational for the Championship game of their opening tournament.  It was tough going to bed last night wondering how our DVC Aggies had done in their first game of the season.  Looking forward to watching live stats at 5!
