If I was MW I would be a little ticked at d3hoops.com right now. In the women's tournament tracker, they already have Marymount hosting on Saturday.

Understand how the system works... we don't control the database. Marymount is a PrestoSports school; D3hoops.com is a PrestoSports entity as well. We all share the same database. It is a bit challenging for us to remove the game from our system without removing it from their system.

We aren't predicting anything.

Nice win for the Lady Captains and, frankly, that's what I expected...I've got a good feeling about Saturday!

GO LADY CAPS!

Unbelievable comeback by Marymount. Climbed that mountain in the 4th Q to get their only lead of the game!

A gut-wrenching loss for CNU...sounds like they should've won it...oh well, gotta move forward and forget about this one.

GO LADY CAPS!

MMT will exit the CAC on top in Women's Basketball. Best of luck to MMT and CNU in the NCAA tournament.

Yes, best of luck...I think CNU moves on to the Sweet 16!

I read where Poquoson's Sondra Fan has committed to CNU...remember this name, folks, as I think she could be a special player for the Lady Captains!

I agree. The pod is sort of a best case scenario, staying in VA close to home against unranked teams. Then on the other hand you could travel to blizzard country in a pod with a top 15. So much for winning the CAC.  Anyway, hoping both teams win and keep playing for a while!

I must admit, it's a pretty good draw, but R-MC will be tough on their own court...they have a really good center that averages a lot of points and rebounds, but I still like the Lady Captains to pull it off.  I think CNU's pressure and quickness will be the difference...no disrespect to Haverford, but I just don't see them posing a big threat in the first round...good luck to both teams representing the CAC!

Well, now it looks like it will be CNU's turn to travel to "blizzard country" with Hope the likely host.

With so much parity, especially in men's basketball, unexpected outcomes where to be ... expected. However, that doesn't prepare anyone for the number of upsets, who was upset, and how.

Sunday night on Hoopsville, Dave tries to breakdown the opening weekend not only looking back at some of the crazier finishes, but also talking to programs who escaped the wrath. Programs who are dancing on to the second weekend and hoping to punch their ticket to a championship weekend.

Hoopsville is presented by D3hoops.com and airs from the WBCANABC Studio. You can watch Sunday episode LIVE starting at 7:00 p.m. ET here: http://bit.ly/2FbY54R.

If you have questions, be sure to email them to hoopsville@d3hoops.com or interact with the show via the social media avenues.

Congrats to CNU's women for making the Sweet 16, yet again...I figured they probably would, but didn't think they'd beat R-MC that badly...now they really have a tough task ahead playing at Hope, but we'll see what happens!

GO LADY CAPS!

Another nice season for the Marymount women...no shame in losing to a good Rochester team on their home floor.

And IF you beat us (Hope) you are likely to have to face Thomas More next.
