Here's a link to the NCAA site listing players and teams in the CAC that are ranked in the top 50 nationally in various categories as of 1/1:

http://web1.ncaa.org/stats/StatsSrv/ranksummary

you may have to click through on the CAC links you find there.

(In some categories, e.g., shooting percentages, to be eligible to be ranked by the NCAA on its site the player has to make a different number of baskets per game than is used by the CAC for CAC rankings on its website, so some leaders on the CAC stat site might not appear on this list while those below them in ranking on that site may appear here.)

Here are the individual highlights for CAC players as taken from the NCAA site:

Points Per Game: Shadae Swan, Goucher, #  5
Rebounds Per Game: Priscilla Biskupiak, Gallaudet,  #8
Assists Per Game: Maria Rojas, Catholic, # 36; Keli Ward, York, #

After being named CAC Co-Player of the Week in early
December, Salisbury's Monica Merkel's missed about a month due to illness.  :( Does anyone know if her entire season is threatened or if it isn't, when she is likely to return to the lineup?

A impressive feat by Jackie DeBorger.. 16-31 (7-11 in one game) out of three points land in this past week of January 8th in 3 wins for CUA Cardinals included Florida Shootout Championship. She had increase and improve her performance from slumpy first few weeks of opening weeks of 2005-2006 season.

I believe that Catholic will finish strong at end of regular season under first year head coach, Margaret Carey. They will be prepare and play much better than 70-51 lost at Mary Washington, by seek for revenge on Feb 1st at DuFour Center. I'm look forward to hear from that game.
