UMW Eagles looked good in their Scrimmage with RM yesterday.

it's a long season though; one scrimmage does not a season make! ;)

That's true but I'd rather work from a positive start then a negative one  :)

Goucher now has posted its roster.  Goucher is small both in size and numbers: Only 10 players, no one over 5'9". They list 2 freshmen - both at 5'3".

Catholic and Gallaudet still silent on their rosters on their websites.

Catholic posted its roster this afternoon.  8 returning players; 7 freshmen.  looks like a lot of new height to go with the new coach.  ;D

Gallaudet  ???

Yes, Congrats to Debbie!  ;)

I wish the games would start. Practices, Postings, Scrimmages, Polls, Rumors, etc., are nice enough, but no substitute for the real thing.

With the NCAA's expansion to 63 teams, any chance the CAC can pick up a second slot? Is the league respected enough for that? Or does it come down to the individual teams' records, etc.? Do you need both a well respected league and a fantastic record?

Pat Coleman

It does come down to the individual team records, but I think if there had been 63 teams in the playoffs the past couple years, the CAC would have gotten an extra team in.

Thanks. Hopefully 2 (at least?) from the CAC will get to dance this year.  :D
