Congrats on Lady Cards.. way to go.. hope they can carry and keep it up through out the season.

Finally it's a great performance from Jackie DeBorger after two games of sub performance compare to last year.. Good to see her bounce back up and be a key factor in the upset win over #5 Scranton. Congrats to Coach Carey for well prepared..

Way to go Cardinals!  Go CAC!

Could be a very big week for CUA ... UMW on Wednesday & MU on Saturday ... the 3 tied for #1 last regular season.

Yes, HUGE win for the Cards!
That ought to get some people's attention about the CAC...

From what I've seen and heard, the league is LOADED this year, with no less than five teams that could do damage come NCAA time.

I love this time of year!

I don't think Marymount is the one you need to worry the most about.  ;)

No, no its the Eagles this year--though as Clint points out there are a number of good CAC teams.  Its just that CUA and Marymount have had a pretty good rivarly going for the last few years now.  But I'm sure the intensity will be just as high in Fredericksburg Wed.  It will be quite a week.

I've seen a few of the CAC teams play so far and it looks like there will be some really tough, close games in the Conference. Should be some exciting Basketball to watch.
I may not always be Right........But I'm never Wrong!

I think both the Eagles and the Saints require much worrying about.

Catholic defeated Montclair State 58-41 tonight, setting up two undefeateds at Mary Wash Wed.  The question is whether both will be ranked...should know in a few hours...

Make that three undefeated teams in the CAC, can't forget the Lady Gulls from Salisbury.

No, I just meant that two undefeated teams will be playing tomorrow night--not that there are only two undefeated teams in the league--there are 4 right now, though obviously somebody won't be tomorrow night.

Maybe they aren't doing a women's poll this week?

Marymount #21
Catholic #22
UMW #23

That's probably pretty accurate and as I said earlier there should be some very close competitive games in the CAC. Tomorrow's UMW-CUA contest should be great!

Three teams with a combined 12-0 against non-CAC teams so far, but they start slugging it out with each other this week.  Throw Salisbury in the mix (3-0) & it'll be interesting to see who's still standing in March.  There should be some great games.
