Congratulations to UMW's Ashton Mitchell on reaching the 1,000 point mark  ;D

Congrats to York College senior Chanel Perez for scoring her 1,000th career point in the victory at McDaniel. Chanel reached the milestone with a jumper with 5:57 left in the second half. She is the 12th York College player to reach the milestone and the third in the last three years (Kristen Daly in 2007, Keli Ward in 2008)

Congrats Chanel on a job well done!

Very nice Around the Nation article on York seniors on D3Hoops home page!  :)  Thanks.  Ward should be a lock for All-American honors.

York/Marymount tomorrow will have no impact on CAC tournament pairings. York vying though for an undefeated regular season in the CAC and for an aura of invincibility.

Incredible game tonight at Marymount. Congratulations to the Saints on a great season. If the CAC gets three in, it may not be over for you yet.  (Or even two, if I'm getting this)

But it was sheer will and determination on the part of the Eagles that turned the tide.

HigherCount and Eaglejacket, I wish you could have seen it. Amazing play by all.

The seniors just weren't ready to pack it in and the freshmen will continue to wreak havoc for the next three years. Wimmer and Warhurst were HUGE down the stretch!

I'm having a hard time thinking of when I have been prouder of them!  :o

hey, Mama, don't forget the show put on by K. Larson!  ;)

Congratulations to the Saints on a great season. If the CAC gets three in, it may not be over for you yet.

The latest NCAA ranking had
5. Marymount (Va.) 19-4 in region, 20-5 overall
6. Mary Washington 18-5 in region, 20-5 overall
If I got this right, in region they'd now be
Marymount (Va.) 19-5
Mary Washington 20-5
While it's clear York gets an NCAA slot if UMW beats it tomorrow, it isn't clear to me whether if York wins tomorrow and the CAC gets a second (but not a third) slot, it would go to UMW (at 20-6 region) or instead to MMT (at 19-5 region). Three CAC slots would be nice.

Go Eagles!

Three teams from the CAC? I doubt it. I think the only way the conference get's two teams is if UMW beats YCP tomorrow (as bbald eagle pointed out). Sorry, but the fact that MMT dropped a game to UMW does damage to their chances to a Pool C bid... and UMW was pretty far down to begin with. Not to mention the fact, upsets (like YCP losing) will make it harder and harder for bubble teams to make it.
