Well, that is true, but it's great to be 7-0 as they're figuring it out...
;)

I agree with you that it's great to be 7-0, I just wonder how many 20-2 type runs UMW has left in the tank for the season.

ESPN/Coaches Poll has UMW #25 yet they also get a point in the "others receiving votes" category.  ??? Must be the fuzzy math.....

Yes... very strange. I saw that one too. Also, we should be tied for #24, since we had the same number of votes as Hardin Simmons (one more, actually...)

Perhaps the "scorer" is from Texas & cooked the books?

It's too bad that the D3Hoops Stats person has screwed up the Marymount (Va) win-loss record......Marymount (NY) lost to Edgar Evans ( I Think ). Marymount (Va) record should be 5-1 ( check their website ), like Catholic........I wonder if that is why they got dumped from the Top 25........Is this another Slap against the CAC???????

I think Marymount dropped because they lost to Catholic which previously lost to UMW.

Catholic didn't get much respect in that poll, either---1 more vote than Marymount after beating them?

You are confusing the polls, I think. jfarchitect is griping about D3Hoops, which didn't disrespect Catholic. Your point goes to ESPN/Coaches, I believe.

Sorry to see Salisbury's loss to ODAC's Virginia Wesleyan  :(

Matt,
I was refering to the D3Hoops Poll, where voters may have been voting on a team with a 5-2 record as shown in the Regional Standings ( which since has been corrected ) and not a 5-1 record, as both Catholic and Marymount have.

jfarchitect

I wonder why Salisbury didn't get a vote........They are one of the top teams in the CAC also.........Man are all of the Poll voters from Pa. or the Midwest?   No respect

Matt Letourneau

Ahh, yes...I was referencing the ESPN poll.  Is there an equivaelent Men's Poll, btw?

The USA Today site only lists D-1 polls for men, not D-2 or 3. I has D-2 & 3 polls for women.

And, it doesn't have the "corrected" addition that move UMW to 24.
