That's what I love about the "Dance"........you get these knuckleheads like "ronk"......coming over from other boards after a few budweisers thinking that the world evolves around the Northeast.........

ronk, I'm going to give you a little advice.........your last post just made it on the Mary Washington lockerroom chalk board..........YOU ARE NOW THE INCENTIVE FOR ACHIEVING VICTORY.....

hey, if you ever make it to DC.......I'll buy you a six of bud light to calm down that testaterone!!!!!!!!

Don't have anything to do with the Northeast-just saw Bowdoin play 2 NCAA games last year and was passing the info that they had a very good front line back this year. Doesn't mean UMW can't beat them, just that this is the strongest part of their team. UMW has already gained 10 points not having to play them at Bowdoin.

Good luck in Gorham, and if you beat Bowdoin, Meggs and Marble(the S. Maine frontline) are at least their equal.
I won't be there but plan on being at the Scranton sectional, where I saw Bowdoin play those 2 games last year.

Did Adelphia (Ch 3) in Fredericksburg show the UM game vs. Muhleburg?  They showed the entire first round game with NJ on Tuesday night (they said when they were filiming that they were only go to show highlights, but they ran the WHOLE game).  I have the NJ game on VHS, plus post game comments with Debbie B, Jenn O, and Coach A.

D3hoopsNet, under contract from NCAAsports.com, will be broadcasting the entire Southern Maine sectional. Coverage starts a half-hour before tipoff and includes a preview of all four sectionals, plus in-game "live look-ins" at other sectionals in progress.

Mark Simon on the call.

Congratulations to the Mary Washington Lady Eagles.....you are a Class Act.....nothing but Quality representation of the CAC.....

REALITY CHECK:

Less than 1 High school girl per team goes on to play NCAA I, II, or III basketball......that is less than 1 percent of all high school players......
Only 48 teams out of over 1200 plus at the NCAA I, II, or III level get to experience the "NCAA Sweet 16" ....you are in an elite group
You have experienced something that you will pass forward.....and I don't just mean the game......it is the experience and all of the emotion that goes with it.....this is "Chapter 2"...last year was "Chapter 1".........
TOMORROW IS THE OPENING PARAGRAPH OF "CHAPTER 3".....
To the Seniors....don't cry because it is over.....but rather because of the excitement of what tomorrow brings.....
To the underclassmen.......think about "Chapter 3"!!!!!! I want to purchase an advance copy when ready!!!!!!!!

officiating decided the game

For a pair of physical, athletic teams that play aggressive defense, it seemed odd that Bowdoin shot 27 free throws (making 18) to Mary Washington's six (five successful).
