Also, there would be some athletes from volleyball team, who want and will play basketball this winter. The volleyball season just completed past weekend in NCAA tournament - Sweet 16 loss to #1 and defending NCAA National Champions, Juniata.

Great! Last season some very good Gally basketball players didn't return but played volleyball instead. sounds like a turn around in approach.

No there is not  :'(
Rumour is there will be no broadcasting games this year by UMW.  ::)
Try looking at the websites of opposing teams to see if they are broadcasting games.  :o

UMW got caught on I95 today, it took them 2 hours to get to Woodbridge, so the Stockton game is going to start verrrrry late.

There is a possibility that the away UMW games will be broadcast after the first of the year, I'll let you know as soon as I know.

UMW 75, Stockton 38

A very long bus trip and a two and a half hour delay to the opening tipoff didn't deter the eighth-ranked University of Mary Washington women's basketball team from defeating host Richard Stockton College, 75-38, on Tuesday in Pomona, NJ. The Eagles improve to 2-1 on the season.
Senior Debbie Bruen scored 11 points and had a career-high seven steals, and sophomore Leigh Kampman scored 11 points and had four rebounds to pace a balanced Eagle attack, in which nine different players scored at least six points. Senior Lisa Tracy scored eight points and had five rebounds and five assists, and junior center Liz Hickey scored eight points and grabbed seven rebounds.
UMW shot 45% from the floor for the game, and made seven three pointers, while limiting the Osprey to just 32 field goal attempts, and forcing 30 turnovers.
The Eagles will host Shenandoah University on Monday, November 27 at 6 p.m. in the home opener.

Better late than never to hear the voice of the Eagles back on the 'air'

Gallaudet Bison won their first game of season in annual Gallaudet Holiday tournament 78-49 over Southern Vermont. The Bison will play tomorrow in championship game against Frostburg State at 3pm. Frostburg State beat St. John's College in second game tonight.

The Bison improving to 1-3 record after losses to Emory & Henry, Greensboro and overtime to Trinity College prior the victory tonight over Southern VT. I would like to note that it's first career win for Gallaudet women head coach Kylan Loney. It's nice that the team marked it's first win at the home opener and it's pretty awhile ago that Gallaudet women to score 78 or more points recent past years. Kudos to Coach Loney and Lady Bison for great performance tonight.
