wow thanks for pointing that out...I'm still sticking with the spartans...If the Celtics were able to pull out of their losing streak I'm going to give lucky game number 13 to the spartans.

Anyone have updates on Larson and Flannagan?
These two are important outside scoring threats for UMW!

UMW's Flanagan played but went down again early in the second half. Larson is still in street clothes. CUA's Maria Rojas and Shannon Mertz each reached the 1,000 point mark in CUA'S loss to UMW today. UMW did not look sharp even though they won by 15. Coach Applebury couldn't seem to get right combos on the floor or the team into the swing of thing especially after Flanagan got hurt. CUA did a good job on tripling posts. A tough win.  ;D

I hope flan and larson get healthy soon :( Their presence is missed

One has to wonder if Bruen is back to 75% of her potential after her illness. She did not play the last  3:00 minutes of the game against CUA. Bieng UMW's leading free throw shooter one would think she would be in the game during crunch time when CUA was trying to get the lead by putting Eagle player's on the charity stripe. Hope her strength returns soon. Foul shots are a critical aspect of a close game.

As we are now entering the CAC Tournament I pose, again, the question..........
Will we have live stats? A radio broadcast?
More than one I hope   ;D

Balder Eagle

Game time is 7 PM tonight, I suspect bisonpride will be updating the scores here   :P

at the half from York...

YCP 34-SMC 26

Daly and St. Aubin each have 18 points.

Saint Aubin has been to the line nine times in the first half. A number of questionable calls.

Questionable calls seem to be the order of the 2006/2007 Season!!  ::) :o ::) :o

Spartans play pretty well despite the choppiness (I don't even know if that is a word) of the contest.

Final:
York 74-SMC 53

Salisbury will head to Mary Washington tomorrow night for the CAC semifinals. The Eagles, the tournament's top seed, are currently ranked in the top 10 nationally and are riding a 20-game winning streak into tonight's contest following a 100-41 thumping of Gallaudet in the first round yesterday.

"This is what I live for as a coach, and this is what an athlete lives for: A chance, as I put it, for David to go slay Goliath, because we're playing the best," Benshetler said. "I wouldn't have it any other way. We've got to go there, we've got to get on the road. Too bad. You want to win a championship you have to go through the best

GO GOLIATH  ;D
I may not always be Right........But I'm never Wrong!
