Sorry, no live stats for home games (we want you to fight traffic and get down here and see the sweet new scoreboards ;D)

UMW,  No. 1 and no live stats  >:(
Forget the live stats, streamline audio :)
Good to see Mitchell coming into her own.

UMW No. 1 and their biggest fans (on here) don't go to the games in person?  ;)

Unlike most schools in the CAC, UMW prefers to do all web operations, including the athletic website and its features in-house. I have purchased the software, it's just that the teckies haven't been able to make it work.
Contact our school webmaster and ask why we don't have live stats. That might make something happen.

Otherwise, enjoy listening to the two road games next week online at York and Catholic. Or enjoy last night's womens and mens games on Comcast Channel 3 in the Fredericksburg area for the next week.

Thanks for the heads up mwcsid  :)
Perhaps http://www.d3hoops.com/audio may be enticed   ;D
:o

They replayed the games last night on tv, it was fun watching just to watch instead of "working" the games.  ;D

UMW 63, Hood 18

Eagles capture career win #100 for Coach Applebury, and Liz Hickey gets career blocked shot #400. Coach is now 100-25 at UMW (and overall).

bbald eagle

Much congratulations to Coach Deena and to Liz   :)

Balder Eagle

Congrats to Deena and Liz  :)

*Mary Washington will visit York College on Wednesday at 6 p.m., with the game audio live on the Eagles' website

York's the site of UMW's only regular season CAC loss in the last two seasons

Just catching up to this. Does this mean you now actually have FOULS on the scoreboard??

mwcsid

Yeah, man, you wouldn't recognize the place. Team fouls, timeouts left... Crazy.
;D

The scoreboards are a HUGE improvement; and mwcsid's back on the air broadcasting away games unlike last year. Congrats to Liz for crossing the 1,000 point mark last night at York.

mwcsid

Broadcast at 6 tonight from DuFour Center.

Nice piece in the Richmond Times-Dispatch on Ashton Mitchell today.

UMW 82, Catholic 61

Lisa Tracy had 19 points, Hickey and Larson 16 apiece for the Eagles, who made 8-15 threes in the game.

Catholic has a good young squad, good freshman group, and Linderoth seems to be fully healed from her ACL that kept her out of most of last year. She had 24 for the Cards.

After losing 3 times to Marymount last year, being less intimidated this season and with a more mature team, York will set things right. When on they execute better than Marymount. Keli Ward ended last season recovering from an injury.

Balder

That more mature York team lost to Salisbury 66-62 and is 2-2 in the CAC. Nothing to be ashamed of that they lost to UMW but if they are going to meet your prediction they'll be #2 in the CAC, they better get it together before they meet up with Marymount and St. Mary's (which beat Salisbury by 6 at Salisbury).

Balder Eagle

OK bbald, I surrender to your wisdom and insight  :P

I will be paying attention to UMW vs. University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, 12/30/2007 -- will this game be streamlined?
