the real question is can one announce and keep stats at one game and watch live stats of two others. And be on the cel with the fourth game. We shall see!!!

We know you can do it mwcsid   ;D

Game 3 - St. Mary's wins. I go with the higher seed in all 4 first round games. Dull choices I guess.

Saturday - Marymount at Mary Washington. That means I have the higher seed win in every game in the tournament. There probably will be an upset but I don't see where. You have St Mary beating Marymount at Marymount, I guess. Marymount has lost a couple lately so maybe you are right but you usually brag on Bill Finney.

In my humble opinion Coach Finney will, yet once again, get the most out of his Ladies on the court. He is prepared for the CAC Tournament.
The Saints will not arrive through UMW's Goolrick Gymnasium's front door at game time on Saturday with the Saint Bernard being thrown bones on the sidelines by an extremely colorful assembly of fans for a third year in a row.
Lets hope UMW is there   :o

Here you predict St. Mary's will play UMW in the CAC final on Saturday

St. Mary's and Mary Wash play Saturday -- your prediction mama   :o

Here you predict that Coach Finney will get the most out of his Marymount team but not make it to Goolrick on Saturday because, I guess, you predict (above) that St. Mary's will nevertheless beat them

Yes bbald, you are reading correctly -- as I read you with the higher seeds winning right across the board and MMU playing Saturday against UMW at Goolrick Gymnasium for the third straight year, although you think there will probably be an upset   ;D

Apparently nobody gives Salisbury a chance.  I, however, would not count them out.  They have two outstanding players (Merkel and Martin) and a handful of good ones.  (If the new coach hadn't run off two of them, they would be much better.)  They played Marymount very closely in their last game.  True that St. Marys beat them twice -- but can they do it a third time?  And if, SU can knock off St Mary's, they match up well against MMT.  I do not see them victorious against Mary Wash -- but if they make it to that final game, that would have been two upsets.  Just food for thought!!

Salisbury's come a long way since the season began but its hard to favor them on the road over a St. Mary's team that beat them by a couple of dozen earlier this month.

bbald eagle

bad memory - the margin was only one dozen. sorry

mamadukes

Salisbury has come a long way, and I would love to see them win over St. Mary's.
However, I also hope that St. Mary's will be entering the door at UMW on Saturday.
I think the Eagles would like a little retribution.
Scratch that.... I know they would.

Good call cac fan. Salisbury 79-78 over St Mary's tonight.

No St. Mary's UMW matchup on Saturday, balder  :'(

Enboldened with confidence from correctly predicting the SU upset win last night, I think MMT should be concerned.  It is possible that SU is finally finding itself this season and might even give Mary Wash a run for the money.  OK, maybe that's a little too bold  ;D

I guess you all also saw that SU men got the huge upset win over top seeded York.  For an SU fan, last night was great -- especially after a long awful season.

Continued good luck SeaGulls!!!!

bbald eagle

The Salisbury men's win last night means that Goolrick will host two CAC championship games Saturday if UMW wins both its games tomorrow.  That'd be a first, I bet.

Well, my humble prediction allows me to humbly predict that it will now be the UMW vs. Salisbury on Saturday. A CAC Championship rematch from 3 years ago. Congrats to Salisbury on eliminating my prediction  ;D

bbald you now have your upset   ::)

Stay tuned..........

Not true. The credit for the success of St. Mary's Women's Basketball Team goes to the team, as well as their former coach.  It was their dedication and talent along with Hambrose's skill in recruiting and coaching that made St. Mary's who they are today.  It had nothing to do with a new coach.  Any one can step into that situation and look good.   One could even coach blind folded and find success. Congratulations SMCM on a great season! You even managed to put the Eagles in their nest!
