Congrats to MWU for advancing to the sweet 16, lets wrap us this Baruch talk, nobody cares about an overrated team who lost in the first round anyway. LIVINGINNYC, what did the Mary Washington fans do to Baruch at their practice thats so unsportsmanship, as far as I know, fans are only allowed at the games!!

I can't believe people from Mary Washington are complaining about poor sportsmanship after what the Mary Wash people tried to do to Baruch during the team's practice. I can only hope the NCAA is looking into it. They should take a cue from the NFL commish on this one.

Tufts 48, UMW 45

Close game the whole way, neither team led by more than three in the second half, UMW had some chances, but couldn't find the one big shot at the end.

Outstanding effort from both teams, Ashton Mitchell played 11 minutes with a torn ACL and had a bucket and four rebounds. The gutsiest thing I've ever seen in sports. Amazing.

Best of luck to the Jumbos (great nickname)...
And congrats to a UMW senior class that went 114-15 in four years, remarkable.

I watched the game courtsey of Tuff's Jumbocast. Thank You Tuffs Yes it was one heck of a game.  Mary Washington showed tremendous heart and Ms Mitchell unbelievable courage.

Congratulations to Liz Hickey of Mary Washington for beign D3Hoop's Regional player of the year, and being on its first team all region and to Kathleen Brown of Marymount for first team honors too. Kudos to Kristen Daly of York, 2d team, and to Keli Ward of York and Ashton Mitchell of UMW for third team recognition.

Any news on UMW's Ashton Mitchell's recovery or rehab schedule and whether she'll be ready to go at the beginning of next season? It will be a big loss if she is not cleared to play then.
