I thought we had a future draft, but when I couldn't find it... I didn't give it much thought. Attributed it to my fuzzy memory, but kept thinking I drafted a bunch of Plattsburgh State players at some point in some future draft because I didn't want to spend time looking for players so I just kept picking my Cardinals. I knew we didn't do one at Christmas time like we did before so I gave up and figured I had my years mixed up.  Now you pull this surprise.

Early bird is usually sometime after the previous tournament, end of March, beginning of April. Future's draft is around Christmas. I think we had 3-4 posters, so I didn't do one. I actually deleted the Early Bird leagues because I didn't feel like doing the work...and then, of course, here I am, doing the work. LOL

I'm impressed with my 12 but four play each other in the first round. Two Wittenberg v two Emory.

Eight as well for me, too bad Yeshiva fell one game short as Ryan Turrell would have been nice!  Not one guy picked (I believe) from RMC seems like the biggest collective oversight ...

Only 7 for me, but I do have Francis, and one of his games counts as double so maybe that is 8!

NCF has a pretty good team with 12 players. I wouldn't count her out.

I wasn't going to do this last year but decided to take what I thought would be the starting 5 of my Cardinals so I wouldn't have to spend a lot of time. I did get the starters part right. Now I just need them to make a deep run. Actually I'll be thrilled if they make the Sweet 16.

We'll be running both Early Bird leagues again. I'll keep it on one page. We'll draft, as usual, after the Final Four with the Player League first, probably 16 rounds again, followed by the Team League, possibly 12 rounds, up from 8.

You don't have to do both leagues, but you may as well!

By the way, my Mr. Irrelevant was CNU's Marcus Carter. Not bad considering he only played about 6 games last year and I wasn't sure if he was returning.
