Given that all 8 UAA Women's Soccer teams have been regionally ranked for the past 2 weeks, it did seem overdue to start a page to discuss the UAA on the women's side.

Starting Matchday #5 with Rochester vs NYU, and we are at halftime with NYU leading 1-0.  The rest of the women's matches have a 5 PM Eastern start.

UAA right now seems poised to get at least 4 at-large Pool C bids into the field.  Wash U at 12 points has a 5 point lead over Chicago, Carnegie Mellon, and CWRU, and a 6 point lead over Emory.

Rochester, Brandeis, and NYU (at 3 points, 3 points, and 0 points respectively going into today) are out of the running for the AQ and are trying to win some games to be considered for a Pool C at-large bid.

So far, Chicago, Carnegie Mellon, CWRU, and Emory are very strong candidates for a Pool C bid.  Wash U will get a Pool C if they do not win the AQ.  NYU needs to win all 3 of their home contests to have a chance at an at-large bid, as does Rochester.  Brandeis may get a Pool C with 2 wins in their final 3 matches.
