Roanoke loses twice in past two days. Tonight CNU wins 101-70. Impressive win.

was at both games, Lynchburg really gave a good game until very end.  Gettysburg game was best game so far this season.

It appears from their website that Medgar Evers women's team has cancelled their season, they have all their games marked as cancelled and no roster.

They hired a coach very late and were advertising for players into November. Luckily there's some leeway on sports sponsorship due to Covid, so they probably won't suffer any repurcussions if they can get things running for next year.

in fact, no Medgar Evers women's team has competed this year. Soccer, volleyball and cross country were all cancelled, the last one that could compete is track & field but I'm not exactly holding my breath.

They've got kinda long term problems from long before COVID and I wouldn't be totally surprised if MEC simply discontinues athletics altogether in the next few years. I don't think sports is doing anything for them in terms of enrollment.

Medgar Evers womens basketball was slowly improving from their abysmal 2012-13 season where they failed to score double digits in several games. They went 6-18 before the pandemic which was their best record in a decade, but they were only playing 6 players by the end of the year.

Hopefully they can get through and put together competitive teams in the future.
