4th seeded Anderson (8-7-4) will head to 2nd seeded Hanover (9-5-4) at 1pm on Saturday.
Anderson making their first HCAC final since 2012 and seeking their first title since 2002 while Hanover last won it in 2021.

Lots of late action in both semifinals.
Anderson scored with 6 minutes left to topple the 2-time defending tournament champs 2-1.
If one goal in the final minutes wasn't exciting enough, there was the other semifinal. Hanover took a 2-1 lead with 7 minutes left, Transy tied it up in the final minute, then Hanover got the winner with just seconds left.

No bubbles to burst here. It's 243 vs 165 in the NPI with Rose-Hulman the highest ranked at 150.

I would point out that while Trinity is the higher seed, the SCAC championship match will actually be held on St. Thomas' (deteriorating) home turf.  The SCAC pre-determines championship sites at the beginning of each season rather than award them to the top seed.

I think Hunter from the CUNYAC will take the honors of being the lowest seed in the tournament.  The NPI rankings may change a little after today, but they are #339 as of now, with a 6-11-2 record 1(adjusted as 7-11).

That's what D3 is all about - win your conference and you make it to the playoffs no matter who you played or anything else.  Sure, it'll be a short journey but you make memories for a lifetime.
