I don't know how many go on the "Daily Dose", but yours truly got the opportunity to make a fool of himself......

hscoach,

No embarassment there.  Quite good insight and surprisingly coherent and gramatically correct for a guy from Minerva (or did Pat edit it before posting?)   ;)

I will stick around, as will OTTER. I believe they will make a statement this week against BW at Home.

Dont count BW out just yet!

Nice work on the Triple Take.  I had fun when I got to do one just over a year ago for the ONU/MUC week.  Of course, I hope your week in the spotlight turns out better than mine did last year for my school.  In true Pick Em's fashion (I'm a NCAC Pick Em's champion afterall), I nailed my analysis of the national games I had no business talking about and picked ONU/MUC as game of the week which turned into a blowout.  (At least I didn't predict an outright ONU win.)

GOTW Prediction: ONU/MUC  (Result: Mount blows ONU out 44-0)
Surprisingly Close Game: Wabash/Allegheny (28-20 final but it was a 1 point game with less than 2 minutes)
Most likely to be upset: St. John's (Carleton takes 'em to the wire losing 10-7....almost)
On my radar: Occidental (They ended up upsetting then-ranked Redlands 28-21)

It wasn't surprising that I picked better on stuff I had no idea about.  Isn't that what this message board was built on?!?!?

MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

When you factor in that I'm also an engineer, it's somewhat amazing that I can put together a complete sentence.

Part of my opinion on Cap/MUC is the "want" to see a close game for a couple reasons:
1.  more entertaining for the broadcast
2.  Mount needs a true test before the playoffs

I also didn't want to be too over the top on the national article and predict a 3 TD win.  I could see a scenario where Capital isn't as nearly as good on the O-line as they need to be and Assman gets planted into the turf, but I doubt it.  I think it's going to be a very good game.

My honest and completely off the record prediction is an even game at halftime, still pretty close game thru 3 quarters with MUC pulling away in the 4th to win by 17 points.  Final score something like MUC 38 / Cap 21

You set a pick ems spread of 19.5, predict a 10 point game in triple take and off-the-record predict a 17 point spread...

Can I have a 3-pick cushion for pick em's?

Here is a highlight video from JR year also have one for SR year but dont have link for it yet.
He now weighs 215lbs and at the MUC camp ran a 4.7 forty and  4.1 in  the shuttle

It's his dad.  I remembered posting that I had seen Matt play in HS.  Lake could certainly use him this year.
