Haa Haa Haa!!!!!  What a great day at Bridgewater!!!

Good Job Hoover and thanks for the ticket!  Man, it was nice and warm at Stone Station.  I just shared some of that famous Llamaguy Chicken with my wife and I'm in like flynn!!!

Thata boy Skoal.  great game today by BC.  Showed we deserved the home game.  They were complaining about penalties all day over on the W&J sideline.  Now they know how it feels to be screwed. (even though we won outright)

Thiel and W&J were pretty similar vs common opponents:

Thiel 38 at W&J 35 (OT)

Thiel beat Grove City 30-0 W&J beat Grove City 37-14
Thiel beat Waynesburg 35-28 in 2 OT,W&J beat Waynesburg 35-24

Thiel beat Westminster 34-0, W&J beat Westminster 45-20
Thiel beat Thomas More 24-14, W&J beat Thomas More 32-14

Thiel beat Bethany 41-7 , W&J beat Bethany 63-0

Thiel points were 202-84    W&J points were 247-110 vs the same squads.

It will be interesting to hear the thoughts of W&J fans that have watched W&J/BC and Thiel all play.

Thanks to everyone who came to The Station today. Skoal that firepit was The Chit! Definitely have to do that at The Stagg. ;)

Great game Defense and Offense! Clean up a few things and this team will be rollin' into Texas or Delaware with some Major Mo!

Was it just me or did we blitz more today than the whole year combined? I know Coach Rob was in the temporary bleachers, maybe it was done in his honor! :o

Have a great week of practice guys. Yet another Thanksgiving will come and pass and BC will still have football to be played. Thanks gentleman!

Go Eagles. Its time to gear-it-up in OUR season, the POST season!

good job BC.

Now that the USA South is out of it....I'll be an Eagle fan.....or is that a kiss of death?

Interesting...

In Thiel's six home games this year, they've allowed one rushing touchdown (and that came in the fourth quarter of a game they were up 34-0 in).

That, coupled with their opponents averaging only 71.4 rushing yards a game (9th in the country), should leave some concern in the minds of Eagle fans.

Also, their wideout Brandon Chambers is ranked 7th in the nation in receiving yards per game (123.6).  Then again, we've already faced #1-ranked Nick Bublavi, #2-ranked Chris Barnette, #3-ranked Jack Martin, and #4-ranked Drew Smith.  Not to mention #17-ranked Mike Russell (Hanover) and #28-ranked Aaron Krepps (W&J).

Even though we couldn't stop them, we got the W.  I'm more worried about their rushing defense.

Phew, I need to stop looking ahead to the next game and enjoy this win a little more!  ;D

Finally our offense and defense play a complete game!  GREAT GAME TODAY TEAM!

GO EAGLES  I have to say I'm glad  BC won,Sunshine would probably never let me live it down if they beat us. But mom stayed true to the BC EAGLES.
Anyways he wants to get on the BC coaching staff anyways someday.
It was an emotional moment when I did go on the field to see Sunshine after the VICTORY, the players he was with had a emotional moment (which reminded me of me last year). But
you know your heart is in the game and for the team, when your players have tears in their eyes and so does the coach. Good game BC eagles and WJ.
   PA bound next week. :)

GEAT GAME!   The defense impressed me highly today!//We put more pressure on the QB  Way to go guys!  I always enjoy seeing Rowdy, Tony and David making tracks for the QB!!  It does nothing good for their accuracy!  Way to go Deon for 2 crucial interceptions to help preserve the victory!!
OLiners  There's work to do. Thiel has a great rushing defense which we have to negate.  I am confident that you can do that, but it'll take work --lots of teamwork, which has NEVER been a problem-- skill--which you have in abundance--in short go get'em guys!  I know you are capable to making holes that our guys can run through to daylight.
Now I've got to get some sleep so I can get to my baking!  and yes, endzoneking6 your peanut butter brownies will be first on my list.  Are there any other requests?

Hate to say "Good job NCAA, but..."...they did get the bracketing right, at least within the regions...14 of the 16 favored teams won in Week 1...no #6, #7, or #8 teams left...maybe there is a big gap between the Top 20 and the next level?

CNWhooooooooooooo,

Tell your boys thanks for beating Ferrum so we got a home game.  And having you root for the Eagles is okay, as long as you don't root for the Packers Monday night.
GO BC!

I lve 5 minutes from the BC campus where I have taught for many years.  Skoal got some of MY brownies to take home to his BETTER HALF, not the other way around.  But we have adelphia here for TV and computer stuff.  I am a proud member of the Stone Station group.  Now there's a group that knows how to put on a great tailgate and how to cheer on our great team.  I think most of us will be up at Thiel next week.  They'd better have some seating up there!  When you're older than dirt, standing is not an option.  Now I have 14 pans of brownies to make for my football team, who played like the champions they are.  I'm proud of them and the ways they find to win because a good team will find a way to win.  There has to be a will (actually I call it a killer instinct, but whatever . . .)in order to find the way!!!  Go Eagles  Are you going to be able to go?  Hopefully it won't be as cold as Lycoming or Mount Union, because I sill remember the weather from those 2 adventures up north.
