Stopping both Lee and Beavers will be a key for BC on Saturday.  Ignore either to your peril.   ;)

Just a hunch but I believe a 20mph headwind forecast for Saturday will shutdown the deep threat for 2 quarters. The BC defense will have to step up in the other two. ;)

Since when did you start checking the weather report, Llama??   :D

PA_wesleyfan

The wind effect may hurt BW's defense more thgan Wesley's offense. IT will not stop Warrick from throwing it. Thewse guys come back to the ball as good as any recievers I have ever seen. I think you will be suprised at how good these guys are. They don't drop balls. I think I stated here before that it is wind at Wolverine stadium most of the time.

Jopson Field at BC might as well be a wind tunnel.  The best team will win regardless of the weather.  BC has already proven that they can play in any weather, has Wesley?

PA_wesleyfan

Boy or Boy you people are touchy!!! Unfortunately the wind usually always blows across the field and not north south.

Since my skinny butt has to dress for it! ;)

Hey Wesleyfan,
So with the wind does that mean the call of game will be " Wesley is down 2 and attempts a game winning field goal ", is it wide left or wide right ???

I will attend the BC/Wesley game if they can get 8 more for the 3rd bus. We will see.

Receivers that don't drop passes and come back to the ball well could be a problem for BC.  Having been at the W&J game, I can tell you that their receivers' inability to actually catch passes that hit them right in the hands seriously hurt their chances of beating BC.  Nobody knows what would have happened, but I personally think that if those drops weren't made, W&J pulls that game out.

I know..if if if...if a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his butt when he jumped.

Not much talk on here about who might be attending the game?  Someone give me an idea on who is going to show?  I might be rolling with about 6-7 folks in tow on the Stone Station Caravan.

SkoalTrain,
I'll be there with the brownies.  I imagine the Rowdy Hoover clan will be as well.  At least they said as much last week.  There are a couple of buses going up, leaving at the crack of dawn.  What am I saying.  It is so far before the crack of dawn it's not funny!!!  5:00 am or some such time.  Does that even exist?  I guess I will find out!

I guess the BC Alumni bus is filled so I have to drive to Dover if I attend this week right?
Ellen said tonight that it was full.  But she said there was another bus so I would call the switchboard and ask for Carrie tomorrow am at 828-8000 if you want to go on that bus.  There might be room.

PA fan be right, My trip there the flippen wind was so loud I could not hear the QB call his signals and I was a SAM backer. I will admit  Lees-McRae did not lose because the wind we lost 14-3 because an H-back the size of Skoal Train's Porta pottie  put a foot print of my helmet for 7. What a drag.

Anyway it will be blowing up there. Feet don't fail me. I pick BC +2 for the upset because of experience. 3rd round crowds are bigger the women free with their finest attributes, stone station guys are more ..ahhh...how do I say this delicately... "comode hugging" by the 2nd QTR (Iknow my point being)  Don't lie LLama.  ;)  GO ODAC :)
Never shall I leave a fallen comrade

Jeremybozz

Does BC have any 5th year Seniors who played on the 2001 Stagg Bowl squad? Even if just for the regular season?

Jeremybozz

Carrie said they need 8 more for that other bus to go.
