Nope...no restriction on moving between D3 schools...no sitting out a year, etc.

Some D-III conferences have a rule about transferring between conference schools, but to my knowledge, the ODAC is not one of them.

Well, I can see why some conferences don't allow it.  I'm sure some of the ODAC schools won't be too happy if this rumored transfer is, in fact, true.  Watching the 2005 CUA boxscores, however, it looked as though CUA Coach Clark had to do a juggling act to keep both K. Ricca and J. Jacobs active at QB.   Even if K. Ricca transfers to HSC, I still believe Catholic will have a potent passing attack based on what Jacobs did when he was playing.

Wow,

Did I miss something?  Was there a tailgate somewhere near Roanoke on Saturday?  And a football game?

Geez, and I had to go to my sister's Christmas party with all her snobby friends.  I should have known.  If you are going to drink, it better be with the right people, and the right people were in Salem.

Sorry I missed the fun.

Here's to next year!!!
;D
GO BC!

Llamaguy, SkoalTrain and Kid:  Thanks for the Bwater hospitality!  Loved talking with you guys again.  Too bad I missed the chicken though ;D.

I have no hesitation in saying that the Bridgewater guys are the best D3 fans I've ever met!  Period.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Has the NCAA ever considered making D3 football a year-round sport?  Let the winter season begin January 7.

Sorry, I don't know how I scrolled right past that post and missed it. Good luck to Tom and whoever gets the privilege of calling plays for Ricca through 2008.

Warning: The following is just hearsay...

During this past season, I heard that Keith Ricca could be playing for Sydney in 2006.

With Tom Clark leaving Catholic, that looks more likely.  If Favret stays in Farmville that is.

KID- Where do you get your inside information?

In D 1 when 2 squads are tied in a poll they are tied. When you have the same amount of vote points you are tied in my book. I am not just saying that because HSC was "ahead" of BC earlier in the year with the same amount of vote points and UMHB repeated the feat today.
I consider BC and UMHB as both #11 and would if the situation was reversed. (Especially since BC went a round farther and the teams both had  2 losses.)
UMHB was much closer vs Wesley but that is how I feel.

I bet BC would be top 8 in the Coaches Poll if they had a post season poll.

The D3 guys (Pat, Keith, etc.) were VERY complimentary of the Stone Station road show...sounds like there are now 2 traditions at Salem: a MUC victory and the hospitality of the Bridgewater faithful. Maybe the  eagle players can change one of those traditions in years to come...

No D3Waterboy!  Don't say it!  Stone Station has got to continue! :o :-\

I think one interesting aspect of the poll was how the D3 voters seem to view the South region this year as solid but somewhat lacking in top flight talent...

On the one hand, there are six south teams in the top 25, plus another three in the also-ran category.

On the other hand, the South regional winner did not break the top five. I was surprised to see that Wesley only came in at #10.  I would have thought Wesley would have gotten a top five spot given it was a national semifinalist.  Even given the Wesley loss to UWW, I figured top 8 at worst-like BC finishing #7 in 2003 after the "Avalance in Alliance" in the national semis.

Again, would have thought Wesley would have fared better...

Why would I say who told me this?

Keith didn't tell me.  Mr. Ricca didn't tell me.  Tom Clark or Marty Favret didn't tell me.

Like I said ... it's clearly hearsay, nothing more.

I guess you're left to trust my judgement.

HEARDENOUGH,
The fact that Kid posted what he may or may not have heard should be good enough.  Kid has a great rep on this site and in my opinion has worked his way up to be one of the more knowledgable D3 Football fans in the country.  Let it rest on where he may or may not have heard rumors about Ricca. (it's weird there is only 1 left playing right now!  :-\)    I'm sure in a few days or weeks everything will work its way to the media or at least to this site.    Also, not to knock you for being a new poster (welcome, please stay)  but Kid owes nothing to a "new guy" with only 7 posts!  ;)
