Jermaine didn't play as much in the 3rd/4th qter since the Thunder finally played with the lead. They were running a 2 LB set since the Centurians were running no huddle and passing every down. ;)

Yeah, I noticed (while watching the live stats) that he had all five of his tackles by the midway point of the third quarter (when it was 24-13).  So I figured they pulled him.

Am I the only one that didn't watch the game live?!  >:(

No Kid,

I missed it entirely.  I forgot to TiVo it.  Damn tax season!  This is the first Berlin Thunder game with Jermaine that I've missed.  I already have it set to record next week's game.

I watched the second half.

Is it Texas Hold'em season yet?

Since the NFL Europe League doesn't keep a list of the top tacklers, I was curious as to where Jermaine Taylor fell halfway through the season.  So I went through all 15 box scores of the NFL-E season and tallied everyone's tackle totals.

Guess who's number one in total tackles, solo tackles and tackles per game?  Yup ... you guessed it: Mr. Taylor.

I'll have a little blurb of my findings (including a list of the top 10 tacklers from the NFL-E) on my Bridgewater website later tonight.

Let's hope he can keep it up the last five weeks of the season!

Wow, Kid is the stats guy for NFL Europe. That work is worth an extra karma point.

Ha, it only took a couple hours.  I'm not sure why they don't keep a tackles tally.  The NFL does.

I posted my findings; BridgewaterFootball.com

I heard from Jermaine today.  If you watched the game, you saw his leg get rolled on during a tackle (2nd qtr I think).  He said his knee hurt like crazy, but it could have been much worse than it was.  I'd guess he hyperextended it a little since he said his leg was propped up on another guy.  He did practice on it today and plans on playing this weekend.  He said he can't keep the tackle lead if he's standing on the sideline.  He also said to say hello to the BC family.

Welcome back, enzoneking6.  I hope you get around to posting more.

The NFL Europe games are televised on satellite TV (i.e. DirecTV, Dish Network).  I have DirecTV, and the channel is 212 (station is called "NFL Network").  Not sure what the station is called, or what channel it is, for Dish Network.

Here is the TV schedule for the remaining Berlin Thunder games (all eastern time);

Saturday, April 22 @ Frankfurt - 1:00 pm
Sunday, April 30 @ Rhein - 8:00 pm
Sunday, May 7 vs. Hamburg - 3:00 pm
Sunday, May 14 @ Cologne - 8:00 pm
Saturday, May 20 vs. Frankfurt - 5:00 pm

And if the Thunder finish with one of the top two records in the league, then they'll play in the World Bowl (championship game) on Saturday, May 27, at noon.

Soltis will call the plays but Mike Clark will have more input than when Colbert was calling them.

Ugh.  Frankfurt (4-2) defeated Berlin (2-3-1), 18-17, nailing a FG with two seconds remaining in the game.

With Berlin up 17-9 with under six minutes left in the fourth quarter, Frankfurt scored a touchdown and went for a two-point conversion to tie it.  The Frankfurt quarterback rolled to his right and Jermaine Taylor converged on him which forced him to throw it (incomplete) into the endzone.

Taylor didn't start at linebacker for the first time, so he finished with only four tackles (three solo) and one pass deflection.
